Chocolate glanced at Popiene, blushing lightly. Popiene was talking to her sister, Truffle, about what flowers they wished to buy. “You good Coco?” Taylor asked, taking a sip from her coffee mug. “Mhm, yep..” She’d be staring at Popiene at this point, admiring every aspect of the taller female.
Taylor put down her coffee mug and looked at Popiene and Truffle, smiling. “In love already? Pffft” Taylor smirked, “N-no I’m not!” Chocolate softly punched her sister’s arm, blushing intensely. Truffle and Popiene walked back to the counter with some papers. “Hello! Are there any questions you have?” Taylor smiled at the two customers as Chocolate stared at Popiene, shrinking a little bit as she also melted.
“Yeah, how much maintenance would those plants need?” Truffle asked, pointing toward the lively, colorful flowers on the shelf. “They need to be watered at least twice a day and sunshine is very important too, and if you want them to live longer then use fertilizer!” Popiene noticed Chocolate’s staring and smiled at her, making Chocolate blush even more.
“Alright, thank you!” Truffle paid for the plants as she walked out of the flower shop holding the plants. Popiene looked back and winked at Chocolate before quickly following her sister. Taylor looked down at Chocolate and sighed, snickering a little bit. “Wow, you clearly are more of a simp than me” she’d chuckle, “HEY!”
The two continued their day and soon enough, it was closing time. Taylor watered the plants before slipping on her cape and sweater, walking out of the flower shop. Chocolate put on her blue jacket and turned off the lights, closing the door behind her and locking it. She’d then quickly take another path, away from where Taylor was heading.
Chocolate closed her eyes shut as she ran through the cold, silent streets. She’d bump into someone and fall down onto the concrete. “I am so so sorry-” “There’s no need to be sorry dear, but are you alright?” Chocolate felt a warm hand touch her cheek as she opened her eyes to see Popiene kneeling down in front of her.
Chocolate was speechless as she blushed, noticing how close Popiene’s face was to her’s. “I-I-I uhm-” Chocolate stuttered, her heart rate accelerating. Popiene smiled, patting Chocolate’s head. “Did you lose your way home?” She’d ask, “Maybe….” Chocolate mumbled. “Alright, tell me where your house is and I’ll take you to it.” Popiene picked up Chocolate bridal style, making Coco blush intensely. “It’s somewhere in the forest, me and my family carved arrows into some of the trees if we got lost.” Popiene smiled as she walked toward the forest, Chocolate just barely awake in her arms.
Chocolate blacked out for a moment, as she woke up and rubbed her eyes she noticed she was near her house. She’d also notice the pair of arms that were wrapped around her. Her heart rate sped up again as she realized who was cuddling her. Popiene hummed, bringing Chocolate closer to her. The warm sunlight shone on the two, waking the other female up. Popiene woke up, rubbing her eyes as she’d look down and see Chocolate clinging onto her, blushing a little bit. Popiene smiled, patting the smaller woman’s back. Chocolate let out a quiet, purr like sound, as the two held each other in the dim sunlight of the forest.
