**** Mal's POV ****

Mal is 3 months pregnant

Ben has a surprise for Lulu and me today. I kept asking if he could give me a hint but the answer was always no.

"Mama where is daddy?" she asked. Her speech was almost perfect now but she still had her cuteness. "He should be back with the surprise any minute." I replied. We were waiting in the family room for Ben just like he had instructed me to do so.

Lulu was sitting on the floor playing with her dolls. "Where is your neckglass Gramps gave you?" I asked. Dad (Hades) gave her this neckglass with a Emerald inside. "It is in my pocket. I need help putting it on." she handed it to me and I put it on her.

"Well, well, well. Look who we have here." I turned around to see my dad. "Hi" I got off the couch and hugged him. "Gramps" Lulu squealed and ran over hugging him. "I see you are whering the neckglass. good." he put Lulu down and she went right back to playing.

"Mal, you know how you can turn into a dragon and all." dad asked. "Yes, I think so" I laughed. "Well, Lulu can do it too." He added. "What-" I started but he cut me off. "You know the neckglass I gave you with the amethyst in it." He started to explain. "yes" I looked down at my neckglass I was always wearing even if it was hidden. "Well, that gives you the power to turn into a dragon and you also inhertited in. If you have the gift to turn into a dragon all the magic will automatically get absorbed into the neckglass. But here is the catch. Usually only the onldest daughter has it and son. But since Charlie is a multiple it won't happen to him." Dad concluded.

"So Lucille can turn into a dragon if she has the gift. But I only turn into a dragon when I get really mad or I do the channeling thingy. Will that happen to Lulu?" I asked. "Yes, when she gets really mad and she does the channely thingy. But Mal the first time she turns into a dragon she won't be able to fly and it will just happen. Yours just so happened to be when you were mad on that cruise ship and you were older but I fear thats not going to be the case with Lucille since she is 4."

"It will just happen like we could be eating and she would transform." I asked puzzeled.

"That would be correct. Now, I have to go. I was just able to step out of the construction of my liar for a little while." I got up and hugged him and Lulu came over to say bye.

"Lucille Evelyn Beast look at me in the eye. You are not aloud to leave mommy or daddy's side untill further notice, okay." I questioned. "Okay" she responded.

"Did I miss anything?" responded a voice. We turned around to fine Ben holding th cutest puppy ever. Lulu ran over and Ben picked her up and she started petting the puppy.

"This is Bella and she is a german spitz." Ben explained. "She is so cute." I laughed. Ben set Lulu and Bella on the ground.

"Okay, Ben I need to tell you something." I walked over to the couch and I started telling Ben everything dad had told me.

"So Lucille Evelyn can turn into a dragon, we just don't know when she will turn but that neckglass is the key to it." Ben asked. "Kind of, I mean, if you smash the neckglass the power will just return to her body but when she takes the neckglass off after she has transformed for the first time the power will be trapped inside." I explained.

"Wow, can we take it off her?" Ben asked. "NO, the magic won't be fully transphered until she transforms the first time." I sighed. Since I already explained it to him.

"Thats alot of stuff to take in." Ben exhaled. Bella walked over and jumped on Ben's lap. Then walked over to mine and sat down.

"Lucille promised to never leave our sides until further notice. Once we know for sure all the power is inside the emerald, I got her a small little glass box she could keep it in until she is older." I looked down at Bella who was staring at me and then started licking my face.

"Let's take Bella for a walk." Ben decided. I picked up Lulu and we went outside to the gardens. it was a wonderful day outside it was fall the trees where turning yellow, orange, and red and it looked like a picture from a book.

"Mommy look, a leaf pile can I go jump in it?" she pleaded. "Sure" I laughed. She ran straight over and Bella was hot on her heels.

"Between those 2 plus the triplets we are going to have our hands full." Ben laughed. "Well, these 2 will have eachother to keep them company." I agreed.

Lulu was jumping in the tiny leaf pile she found over and over again. "Come on Lulu let's keep walking." She ran straight over to me and I picked her up.

"You have leaves all over you. You need to take a bath when we get home." I sighed. "NOO" she shrieked but was laughing, Which just made me laugh.

"Look Lulu a bigger one." I pointed at this giant leaf pile that she could easily get barried in.

Her eyes lit up and she and Bella bolted towards it. Bella jumped in first and Lulu yelled to us, "You can't even see her any more." "Okay baby, don't jump on her." I laughed. Bella was jumping up and down in the leaf pile like the dog who has never seen leaves before.

"Watch me" she commanded. "Okay" Ben laughed and I leaned into his chest.

She jumped high in the air and right before my eyes I saw her flash into this tiny pink dragon. Then, I saw her fall into the leaf pile screaming.

"Lucille!" I screamed. Ben and I ran straight towards the leaf pile with all our might. Bella was wimpering next to her face and licking it so, I grabed Bella.

Lucille was laying lifeless on the ground. I quickly grabed the neckglass from her neck and put it in my pocket. I was full on crying now. Ben picked her up.

"Wake up Lucille" I wisphered. "Wake up"
