The little Dragon (Bal)

Chapter 14

**** Lucille's POV ***

It has been 4 years since I had my accident. Mom still has my neckglass locked up safley in this box and hasn't let me wear it since I was little. I want to be a dragon again so bad its part of who I am. Mom and dad are living in  fear that I will hurt myself. It's not fair. 

And I have had enough. That's how I decided on this plan:

Mom and Dad will be at a special adult dinner with Aunt Evie, Jane, and Loonie. Also Unkle Jay, Carlos and Doug.

Then using the secret escape passage I will climb through it and take the key right out of mommy's pocket.

 What are the odds I get caught, 0%. How I know. I did it and as I was unlocking the case I heard mom and dad's voices comming down the hall so I quickly took the neckglass and closed the case but forgot to lock it but you can only know if you open it thats it not locked. 

I ran back through the escape passage in mom's room and ran to the one leading to my room. I flopped on my bed with the biggest smile on my face. I walked in front of my mirror and put the neckglass on. I felt the power run through my viens. 

"I can't wait." I looked my self in the eye and sprinted towards my open balcony door and a puff of pink smoke circled around me and I felt my self turn. I started flapping my wings and the feeling felt narural. I was flying high and not stopping. I decided to go to Gemma and I's favorite spot. This little meadow far from the castel. I knew no one would be able to see me so I flew straight towards the medow.

**** Ben's POV *****

I had just finished putting Charlie to bed and on my way to say night to Lulu when I bumped into Mal. 

"Hahaha, watch where you are going." Mal laughed. We both walked into Lulu's room but she was no where in sight.

 "She must be outside reading." Mal said nodding towards the open balcony door.  I mean it was dark outside but maybe she had a flashlight or something. 

"She not out here." I said looking around. Mal was inside calling her name and looking everywhere. 

The triplets came in and asked what was wrong. 

"Lulu's missing." I replied. They all started looking around and Parker went to go tell mom and dad (Belle and Adam).

By the time they came back we had already looked everywhere in the upstair and had every maid  and butler looking. 

Mal and I were looking all around our room when we heard Carlos, Evie, Jay, Jane, Loonie, and Daug arrive. 

"Mal, we are going to be looking in the throne room and in the attic." Evie said as they all started to disperce. But then before they even got 4 feet away Mal gasped. 

"What?" Everyone asked as they started reapproaching the room. 

"I can't find my key to get into the box with Lucille's neckglass in it but.." She opened the box and I saw the neckglass was missing.  

"She is outside somewhere turned into a dragon or she coud be injured" mom gasped. I saw that Gemma had her thinking face on and she looked really cute but then I saw a look of realization come across her face and she rushed out of there and down the steps.

"Gemma Jane Beast, get back here!!" Mal yelled after her but all she did was run. We followed her outside and through the palace gates to the meadow that was covered with trees. 

But when we arrived there was a wall Gemma immediately started searching. 

"Gem, what are you looking for?" Charlie asked. Gemma was still holding her pink teddy bear and walking down the wall feeling every crease. 

She found what she was looking for and a door suddenly appeared and Mal and Gemma rushed through. When we all got through I saw this pink dragon soaring through the sky. A huge smiled spread across my face as Mal came up to me. She had tears in her eyes and I knew she was so proud. Mal stepped forward but was repelled against some kind of invisable force field. 

"Sorry, Lulu made this so only her and I can get through. I will go get her. Here hold Strawberry mommy." Gemma said. Strawberry is her teddy bear. Also to all the parent out there, never give an 7 year old a spell set.

"Lulu come down. Mommy wants to see you." She turned and looked back towards us and then added, "And a couple other people." 

Lulu made her way down and it was not the smothest landing and when she turned back to human she was face planted in the ground.

"hahaha" I heard Mal laugh softly. Gemma helped her up and they walked towards us. But before any of us could talk Lucille said,

"Why are they waiting outside the force field, they could have used the door." She pointed at the door at the opposite end. We all looked at Gemma. 

"Ohh. I forgot." she said. Mal hugged Lulu and Gemma started fighting to get her teddy bear from Mal since it was wegged in between Lulu and Mal. 

Once Gem got her bear free. She ran over to me and I picked her up. Parker and Charlie were already asleep on Jay and Doug's shoulders.  I set Gemma down who ran over to Carlos who picked her up and I hugged Lulu. 

"Now that we have Lulu can we go home to bed?" asked Parker who was asleep on Jay's shoulder.

"Sure" Mal replied. We all started walking but I saw Lulu slip back behind the force field and  she morphed into a dragon and flew. I heard Mal groan and once she was outside in open air she turned into a dragon and flew beside Lulu.

Once everyone was in bed and had gone home Mal and I sat down with Lulu to talk. 

"You should have asked if you wanted your neckglass back and give me my key." Mal said. Lulu handed her the key and began to speak, "I'm sorry but I thought if I asked then you would be mad and I would never get it back." She started crying. 

"We just wants what is best for you and we wanted you to be ready when we gave you your neckglass back." I explained. She nodded. 

"Listen Lucille, I love you more than anything else in this world remember when you were 2 and you were scared of the ground, I would never let you touch the ground because I could see how scared it made you." Mal laughed. Which made Lucille laugh. 

"I remember the first time I met you. You were this sad little baby who had these big old hazel eyes and just wanted attention. Like when I kissed your mom when I was holding you and you smacked my face withnyour hand so you could get attention. But as soon as I saw you I knew you were going to be my little girl forever. Know matter how big you get." I pulled her into this big hug and Mal joined in. 

"Also just FYI you can sleep in this neckglass. It is magical so it won't chock you or anything." Mal explained with a yawn. 

Lulu just burst into this big laugh and it still sounds exacually the same from the first time I saw her.
