2.

*POV SKYLER*

"Where are we going?" I ask Ethan, after he skipped the road to my house. "We're going to Deucalion" he answers, looking at the road with two hands on the steering wheel. He's obviously mad at me, and I don't even know why. For a second I wanna ask him why, but when I look at him and see his moody face, I decide to shut up.

When we arrive at Deucalions, Ethan gets out the car and walks inside without saying a word to me. I follow him into the building. It's awful, but it was the best place we could get for now. When Ethan opens the door, the only thing I can see is black. I get scared because I don't know what will come now, but my fear ends quickly when Ethan turns the light on. The only thing I see now is the Alpha of the Alpha's, sitting in a chair doing absolutely nothing.

"Ethan, what are we doing here?" I whisper to him, completely forgetting Deucalion is a blind werewolf, so he'll here anything we say. "I called him" I look at Deucalions way, not knowing if I heard it right. "You called him?" "Looks like I just said that, didn't I?" I look to the ground and mock him, knowing he can't see me. "Yes sir, I'm sorry, but why exactly do I have to be here if you wanted Ethan?" "Isn't that very obvious, Skyler?" "Clearly not sir, otherwise I wouldn't have asked it. Ouch!" I add, looking at Ethan, who just hit me. "Don't talk to him like that" he mumbles. I sigh. Sorry, I really really love Ethan, but one thing I can't stand is that he's always so polite and never EVER does sarcastic. 

"I called you, Skyler and Ethan, because I have a mission for you two. A very hard mission, that I usually wouldn't give it to guys like you" I don't know if I should take that as a compliment... I decide I do. I hear Ethan's heartbeat raise and feel that mine does the same. I don't get why he would give a mission to us, we're just two werewolves who are very very young and I'm only a Beta. But thankfully he continues talking; "I, sadly, can't give you the mission right now. But I will give it to you the next time we meet." And without telling us when that meeting will be, he turns his back at us by turning the chair. I open my mouth to say something, but feel Ethan's hand covering my mouth. I look at him and he shakes no. He signs to leave and I just follow him, without knowing why. 

"Why are you so mad at me?!" I ask, while Ethan starts the car. He turns agressive his head to me. "Well, first you bump accidentally into Jackson, the guy I told you not to talk to. Than he asks why McCall was scared, which is obviously one of the questions you'll be hearing more. Then you just stand there, looking stupid, thinking if you should lie or tell the truth. Yes I heard your heartbeat" he says, after I opened my mouth. "And after all that, you begin to talk sarcastic to Deucalion, our boss, our Alpha. How dare you!" He says. I just watch him rage, while thinking why I just didn't lie to Jackson. I don't know why I'm so attracted to that guy... "I'm sorry, Ethan." I say, while l look at my hands. He doesn't say anything but just starts the car. He drives me to my house. While I get out the car. "Thanks for the ride. See you tommorow..." He nods, and I see that as my sign to go inside my house. I wave at him, but he starts the car and drives away. 

I know I messed up, I just... Don't know why! Okay, I know I was being disrespectful against Deucalion, but still. I mean, I didn't ask for all this! I didn't want to become a monster once a month! He gave this to me, not me. Now, I'm not saying it's not cool and helpful sometimes. But still. I really have all the right to act like this.

I grab a book and start reading, hoping it will take my thoughts away. Well, it doesn't. I take my phone and see one missing call from my mom. I go downstairs. "Mom, did you call me?" "Yes sweatheart, I was wondering why it took you so long to come home?" "Oh don't worry about it mom, I was hanging with my friends." Only if she knew...

Now you gotta know a few more things about me: I catch feelings very fast. And I have the feeling of guilt also very fast. So for the next 2 months, I've been lying to my parents about who I am. Or, better said, what I am. So everytime I have to lie about some things, I feel so so bad. Like now. But I just can't tell them. I will, eventually, but at the right moment. And that's just... not right now. 

I really wrote the name "Deucalion" 5 times... 6 now, actually.

I'm so happy I found some motivation to write... This part almost had 900 words.
