Silence
A thing I never hear anymore
I am surrounded by noise
My friends, classmates, and family
Even in my own mind
I hear voices everywhere
Silence
It always seems to disappear before it was even there
Talking is always is destroying it
talking fills my ears with noise
It's frustrating
Silence
Is never given a chance
And no one seems to want to give it one
It may be true that it is looked down upon
But maybe that's cuz it can feel like death
Silence
In truth we fear it
We kill it so it won't kill us
So it won't leave us with our dreadful reality
A reality where everything is a little too real
Silence
If you haven't noticed
Has many different influences on us
Sometimes it can bring out the best in us
Or it can knock us to the edge of the cliff
Silence
For those who are mature it will be a thing they wish they could encounter and enjoy as they work to improve and grow,
They seem to be the only ones who can hear the cry of
Silence
Who wishes to be of use
To have a purpose
In the halls
In the class
It wants to help us
But everytime one who is mature tries to get the others to give it a chance
They simply murder it instead.
And silence is dead
A thing I will never hear again.
