"What made you come all this way? I know you have all your family and friends down in Mystic falls," Josie pulled away from the hug and she stuffed her hands into the front of her pockets.

Jade raised her eyebrow. "I told you. I didn't want to do long distance and I don't want to lose you so I sacrificed this all for you."

Josie scrunched her nose as she frowned, "I don't want you to do that for me. If you want to do that then you have to do it for yourself. What if you regret it and then it's my fault and I'll be very sad to put you through an-"

"You aren't making me do anything that I don't want to do. I want to be with you, I promise." Jade assured. Josie nodded before looking back over to see if Hope had came back but there was no one in sight. She chewed at her bottom lip before turning back over to her girlfriend.  Jade saw the mood change but didn't say anything about it. "You have something yellow on your face." Jade reached up as she tried to wipe it off but it didn't come off.

Josie felt it as she smiled from the memory. "It's paint, Hope thought it was a fun-"

"Hope?" Jade questioned

"Yeah, she's this girl. Well she's not just any girl, she's kind of own most of everything in this place, but she started splashing paint all over me."

Jade crossed her arms, "do I have to kick her ass? Because I will if I need to-"

Josie smiled and shook her head, "I don't think you could even if I wanted to. That would get you hurt and in so much trouble."

Jade stepped up, "anything for my girl though." She looked around the setting, "I don't know about you but I'm very excited to see you. I was thinking that maybe we can go see a movie or something? Tonight? I still have to get settled and I can't wait to spend more time with you."

Josie thought for a moment. She did tell Hope that she would go with her out for some dinner but Jade just got back, that's basically her having to decide between Jade and a person she barely knows.

Her girlfriend or Hope...

"Jade, I made plans tonight. I was going to go out with a friend."

Jade face dropped, "but I just got back in town. Can't you reschedule it? I want you all to myself."

"I know but I made an oath to her that I would be there. Plus she would be sad if I don't make it."

Jade scoffed. "If you loved me you would." She turned away from Josie as she leaned against her car with her palms covering her face.

Josie sighed as she looked from the art room door and then towards her girlfriend. She sighed. "I do love you, Jade." She chewed at her bottom lip, "I will go with you. I just need to finish up with the kids here and then tonight I'll be all yours." Josie winced a bit at her wording before Jade turned around with a grin.

She leaned forward and pecked Josie of the cheek. "Yes! Love you! And I'll see you later." Jade got into the car and before a blink of the eye, she drove off.

Josie turned to look at the activity building as she sighed and found her feet trailing towards it.

"Do you see kids?" Hope asked as she drew a simple house. "Now I'll come over to you guys and draw a house for everyone, but the best person to color it will get a prize."

The kids cheered as they had on their little aprons. "I will be helping as well." Stefanie announced before walking over to Sammy.

Hope walked over to the nearest kid and she drew a quick and simple house as she did with the others.

Once she was onto her last house, she heard the door open. She could only assume that it was Josie.

"Kids say hello to Ms. Josette." Hope says as she didn't take her eyes off of the canvas in front of her

"Hi Ms. Josette." The kids said in sync.

Hope stepped away from the canvas and brushed all the eraser left overs off of her apron. "You guys may start." Hope announced as the kids quickly started to fix up their canvas.

Stefanie walked around as she helped the kids here and there as Hope stood by her own Canvas. She started her whole thing over and did something a little more.

Josie on the other hand was a bit confused. Usually Hope would be using every line in her player book to get her right now but the auburn haired girl was being a bit distance.

The brunette shoved her hands into her back pocket as she walked up to Hope.

"That's a nice picture you got there." Josie spoke up as Hope continued to draw. She didn't say anything to Josie because what was there to say. "I really like it."

Hope looked over at Josie with an unfazed look as she gave a simple nod. "Is that all?"

"What's wrong? You were just all cheery and happy outside, now you look like someone popped your ballon."

Hope tried to contain her mind because that was just a dirty joke waiting to happen. "I just like to concentrate on my paintings instead of everything else, I'm sorry if I wasn't giving you any attention, because that's totally my job." Hope walked over to grab some more paint as Josie followed after her.

The brunette scoffed, "the moment I got here, you've been flirting with me and practically trying to take my clothes off." She yelled in a whisper.

"And you enjoyed every bit of it, didn't you?"

"You wish"

"Hey, sometimes wishes come true." Hope took the paint and walked back over to her painting. "You guys are doing a good job." She smiled at them before she turned around to see Josie standing right next to her. "Are you going to get to your point? I mean you're a bit confusing."

Josie sighed as she ran her hands through her hair. "Listen, we don't have to see each other again. If you want to be this way then that's fine with me. I just wanted to be a good person and not some assho-"

Hope covered Josie's mouth as she looked around and at the kids. Thank god they weren't listening.

"Watch your mouth."

Josie moved Hope's hand away, "you don't tell me what to do."

"Oh, but I will tell you what to do." Hope said in a serious matter, "and you will listen."

"How much you want to bet?" Josie challenged as she stepped up.

The mikaelson girl smirked as she leaned forward, "My life." She whispered as Josie closed her eyes shut and let the voice of the shorter girl sink in. "Now why don't you be good and go help the kids, that's what you're here for, right? Or are you here for me?"

Josie leaned back and glared. She didn't answer as she turned around and made her way over to the kids.

Stefanie walked up beside Hope and shook her head, "Don't play her. I know your little games and she's my cousin."

"Oh please, you and I both know I wouldn't hurt a hair on her head" Hope muttered as she faced the Salvatore, "When have you ever seen me being the one to chase after someone?"

"Never."

"Exactly, which is why she's different, I like different." She whispered.
