I went towards her to take her, but she started to run away. Everyone stopped having fun and started watching us chase around the fire. Soon they started cheering for Sara. Everyone had fun, and judging by Sara's face, she had the most fun.
At one point she stopped. She was looking at the fire, but judging by her eyes she was somewhere else. She raised her head and looked at me, and walked around the fire and came to me, only then I could see tears in her eyes. She tried with all her might to keep the tears from running down her cheeks.
-Please carry me to the hut.-she said and fell into my arms.
I took her in my arms and carried her to the hut. Finally we reached the hut, i took her inside and put her on the bed, i took off her sneakers and covered her with a blanket. I turned and headed for the exit, when a thin, soft female voice stopped me.
-Stay. Please.
-Do you need anything?
-You remind me of him.
-Of who?
-I remembered.
-What? Tell me.
-He had...green eyes and dark hair, just like you. I remembered his smile and deep voice.
-What? Who is he? How did you remember?
-I don't know. I just looked into fire and his face just showed up to me.-She said and looked at the bracelet she wore on her arm.
-How is that possible?! I have to tell Alby about this.
-No! Please. I'll tell him. Just stay with me tonight.
-Okay.-I sat next to her, and she was looking thoughtfully at one point and was silent.-Can you tell me something about him?
-Why are you asking me that?
-You said I reming you of him. I want to know. But if you don't want to talk about him that's okay.
-I actually want to. What do you want to know?
-Anything. What was he to you?
-He was my boyfriend. I told my dad about him. He was the first I told my dad about. He liked him, but the only problem were his years.
-How older is he?
-Seven years. Sounds too much? It is. It was big difference between us. He was older, more serious, with more experience. I was just a girl. I didn't know almost anything. It all started when he asked me for my mobile number. The excuse was for a dance class we were going on together. That night, on my way home I was shaking. I was so happy that he asked me for number. I never thought I had chance with him. I've never even thought about it. For me, he was just hot older guy and that's it. Nothing more. After few days we started texting. Then we met and he kissed me. Usually my first kisses were awful and awkward, but this one was perfect. After that kiss, we were together for 6 months. I fell in love. We spent all the time together. Then he started to act weird. He said I'm acting like a child.-she stoped.
-And then?
-I broke up. He left. I was broken. But I couldn't just let him hurt me like that. It was too much.
-That was the only reason? Because I fell like it wasn't.
-No. He had to left for five months. I knew he won't cheat on me, but I wasn't ready to wait him for that long. I wouldn't cheat on him but that feeling that something is missing was killing me. I didn't wanted to feel that again.
-I'm so sorry Sara.
-It's okay. I'll get over it. I want to sleep now.
-Do you want me to leave?
-No. Stay with me.
-Okay, I'll just lay on the floor.
-No, you can sleep next to me. There is enough place. Also I'm cold.
With her eyes half closed, she lifted the blanket and waited for me to lie down next to her. I took off my shoes and lay down, wondering if this was even right.
-Are you sure? You're drunk.-I asked, more because I was laying with Teresa in this bed, than being scared for Sara.
-Yes, I don't want to stay alone tonight.
-Okay. Don't worry, I wont even touch you.
-Hug me.-she came closer to me and rested her head on my chest, and with her hand she lifted mine and put it over her. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes.-Thank you, Tommy.
-For what?
-I don't know.
-Always for you.-I smiled.
