"You boys ready?" I ask Sam and Dean as we gear up before heading to face a very pissed off witch.

"The real question Roberts, is are you?" Sam teased as he playfully punches my arm.

"Oh I was born ready, Winchester." I smirked as I slid a silver knife into my boot.

"Knock it off you two. We've got work to do." Dean closes Baby's trunk as we turn and make our way to the house we tracked the witch in.

This was the last witch of a coven I'd hunted awhile back with my sister, before I joined up with the Winchesters. With the help of Sam and Dean, we were able to hunt down the last witch and I was ready to finally finish the job.

Dean walks up to the door and pulls out his gun. Him and Sam have an unspoken conversation with their eyes. Every time they do that it makes me think of my own sister and when we'd do the same. But I know she's doing just fine helping Castiel while I decided to stay with the Winchesters. Can you blame me though? They get to do the fun stuff anyways, ganking monsters and all that.

I'm drawn out of my thoughts when Dean turns the doorknob and we all walk inside. Guns in hand, we split up a little to scan the house, I head for the kitchen. Carefully stepping into the room, I scan the area watching for anything out of the ordinary.

Just as I reached the island and was about to look around it I hear a step behind me. Whipping around I find the witch glaring at me.

"Ah, we meet again Professor McGonagall." I smirk.

"Where's your sidekick? I was hoping I'd get to see the both of you." The witch taunted.

"Wouldn't you like to know. Unfortunately if I tell you, I have to kill you." I shot back.

"You won't be needing that dear." She chants something leaving my hand in pain where I drop my gun. I let out a scream as the pain gets worse.

Sam and Dean run into the room behind the witch. Unfortunately the witch is smarter than we gave her credit for because she turns around facing the boys.

"Ev, you okay?" Dean asks. I grimace and nod so he can focus on the real problem.

"My, my, Evelyn. Working with the Winchesters I see. I don't blame you they're rather attractive. Especially this one." The witch gestures to Dean. A look of discomfort briefly crosses Dean's face before a mask of seriousness falls into place, covering it up.

"You know that song? The one that goes, 'Lonely is the night, When you find yourself alone, Your demons come to light.'" The witch asks looking out the window as the night falls.

"Yeah, what about it?"

Before I get an answer she starts chanting as she faces the boys. There's no way I'm letting them get hurt because of me. I quickly grab my gun and I cut her off with a shot to the calf. The witch screams and falls to the ground. I quickly finish her off with not one, not three, but five shots to the chest. I wasn't taking any chances. Breathing heavily I look up at the boys who both looked dazed.

"Dean? Sam? You okay?" I ask them. They look at each other still confused then face me.

"Do we know you?" Sam asks rather than answering my question.

"I'm sorry what? Are you seriously pulling my leg after that?" I was not in the mood for jokes. My hand was still in pain, I just killed the witch that had been haunting me for months and now Sam is joking?!

"Look, I don't know what's going on other than the fact that you just ganked that witch and now you're yelling at my brother, so you can calm down." Dean argues.
