It all started with a normal day of going to school and sleepi- I MEAN SITTING through 2 hours of history. About the Great War between the heroes and the overwhelming force of evil with the greatest hero of them all Deku facing off against a monster that has more than a dozen quirks. And how the war ended in victory for the heroes, although at a cost. All of this took place about 2 centuries ago.
Because of that some nut case of a genius came up with a way to make machines with quirks known as Quirk-Droids, so that when a time like that war comes, there will not be any significant casualties since no person will be fighting, it will be all left to the Quirk-Droids. From then on the quirk-droids replaced many other things, the police force, the military, some everyday tools, transportation. Since quirk-droids come with a variant of quirks they can be used for anything. But that also changed when another nut case took that idea adding on to the madness.
Because of that quirk-droids with the erasure quirks, capture quirks, lie detector quirks, tracker quirks and so on have become the police force making it almost impossible to go against the law. Although there are some who push their luck, too bad they're plans go south when those Protection Oriented Operational Petrol, P.O.O.P for short, activate this device in our heads that gets implanted at our birth.
Did I mention the implant before? Oh, even with all the quirk-droids P.O.O.P has, the implant is the biggest reason why people don't go against the law nowadays. 'And it's all for our safety' they say, I swear to God this is all a brainwashing tactic created by some A.I that's running the government from the shadows.
Anyway, history lesson aside, this world is kinda boring if you ask me. Heroes and Villains have become nothing more than superstars, idols, and actors who follow a written script, so every time there's a "villain attack", you can sure as hell bet that nothing bad will happen, the heroes will show up, "fight" the Villains and "save the day" all without a single injury or destruction of anything that will halt business or disrupt the livelihood of the people, that's how it is.
As a child I couldn't see it back then, but I now I know it's the same song and dance every time, now I'm bored of it. Of course script and actors are different every time, that's what keeps everybody else's interest, but the plot's the same thing over and over and over again. It's so overused that I lost interest in the hero biz altogether and thought that Math is more fun. With most of the country so focused on the "Heroes vs. Villains" play, it's stuck in this boring rutt with very little things being actually fun.
And so with that ends the siesta session as I'm jolted awake by a classmate and off I go to the next class which I'm glad that they brought it back, Shop Class is what I'm talking about. I did question the sanity of the board of education when at first but I'm glad they did, because this class is the only place in school I can break stuff without punishment. Although I say that this is one of the classes I get an easy A+ for playing around. And so I continue my mechanical monstrosity as the class and teacher call it. It is my project so no one can complain.
What is it you may ask, well I can't exactly describe it without putting ya'll to sleep so let's just say it's a puzzle that can have a different use depending on how it's put together.
Too bad it can't leave school grounds yet otherwise it would be finished by now. Can't exactly fault the school for this since people used to get outside help or just outright cheat, so them's the breaks.I finish what I can for today and head out since Shop Class is my last class of the day. As I was heading back to the old man's workshop I caught a glimpse of what I think was someone trying to hide in the alley next to the workshop and doing a not-so-bad job since the suspicious lookin' dudes conducting a search can't seem to find what they are looking for.
"Yo, what seems to be the problem?" I ask as I approached. "That is none of your concern kid, move along." one of them said as they try to shoo me away. That kinda pissed me off, "Well anything surrounding this building behind you is my business, so of course I'll be concerned when two suspicious people are lurking next to it." I said with a smirk on my face. "Suspicious?!" bellowed one of them. "Have you considered how you look from a distance, I think I'll call the police wi-" "No, need for that sir, we'll take our leave shortly. " the other one who's been silent finally spoke up as he pulled away his partner walking away, when they went out of sight I approached the visitor who I find has pink hair, honestly I'm shocked how those two missed something that sticks out like pink hair.
"The Suspicious Duo is gone you can come out now." as I said that they twitched, does this person think they are actually hiding, well it did work on on those two but maybe they are retarded. "You... You can see me?" the person asked in girly voice... Holysh-she actually thought she was hiding! "She actually thought she was hiding!!"
...
...
"What?"
...
Crap! I think I said that out loud. "*Ahem* nevermind me, how 'bout you come out of there since it looks shady talking to someone in a dark alley." I suggested
"I can't, they'll find me." So she WAS hiding. "I see, then come inside the shop, you'll be out of sight." I suggested. She did hesitate, who wouldn't when a stranger invites you to their house, but... "okay" she agreed.
