The adults say this is a hospital for lost children.
Is this really a children's hospital?
I don't even know anymore.
I was dragged back into this hell hole and the only thing they say is this quarantine is for our safety, ha! as if!
This place felt like a prison run by a mad scientist and we're the lab rats. How did I come to such a conclusion?
I honestly don't know since the second I was aware I was in this place. There was a wide range of kids some where like me and some came from the outside
...We're separated by age, those who have visitors can see them through an unbreakable see through wall, though only once a week and we're not allowed to interact with those in a different section. Usually I would hear noises and screams coming from the vent in my room, and when I asked the adults about them they never answered.
One day the adults said that I'm now 8 years old so I have to go to the other side of the wall. I was always curious of what was on the other side of this wall where I would hear screams from. The second I entered this place the atmosphere was completely different from where I came from, it's was suffocating. And the others that I saw there had hollow eyes,
I've had enough! Those so called "tests" are getting more unbearable by the day so today I'm busting out of here and it seems it's my lucky day as the security is more lax than usual. I found a way to enter the hallway that leads to the visitor rooms, normally there would be some adults accompanying us when walking in here
I managed to get myself into one of those visitor rooms only to find a girl with light pink hair sitting on the floor at the center of the room. She turned to my direction staring at me. Her eyes were dim, her facial expression was that of someone who gave up and had nothing left, she held onto what looked like a teddy bear.
I extended my hand to her, "Come with me and we can get out of here, that is if you want." I don't know what came over me but something was telling me to take her with me. She slightly tilted her head to the side and ..."why?" She asked. As soft as her voice was she sounded like she had no interest in anything.
"Don't you want to see the outside world?" Once again she stared blankly at me for a few seconds before she nodded and took my hand. "Okay, we have to be quiet so they don't notice us."
