omniscient view

"hey alexa! turn down volume" dawn yelled as she walked out her connected bathroom. the music that played through her speaker lowered as she walked around her room, towel around her body.

dawn hummed along to the music, 'girl with the tattoos' by miguel playing softly. she opened up her closet, pulling out the already put together outfit.

"alexa, pause music" she instructed the home device once more as she slipped a tightly fitted plain white tee over her head. she paired the shirt with dark faded ripped jeans, her black puffer jacket that vadah had bought her a few weeks back and her black-white chunky hightop converses.

dawn looked at herself in the mirror, grabbing a simple gold angel necklace and her bracelets as accessories. "siri, facetime megamind" dawn yelled out to her phone that sat on her vanity. the girl brushed through her straight black wig, that she had installed for a promo earlier during the week, and then sat in her vanity chair.

"you still getting ready?" a voice rung through dawn's phone as the call connected, displaying justin reyes himself. dawn propped her phone up, rolling her eyes as she curled her lash extensions. "i don't know why you acting surprised by this" dawn shrugged, putting on brown lipliner and adding clear lipgloss.

"dawn. we just going to the mall and movies." dawn mugged her boyfriend, raising an eyebrow. "justin if you walk out yo house looking a fool, i'm hitting you in yo shit" she said flatly.

justin chuckled on the other side of the phone, getting out his own bed and propping the phone up for dawn to critique his outfit. "awe you wanna be my mini me so bad" she smiled, feeling a bit proud that her influence is rubbing off on him.

jay's outfit was about the same as dawn's besides the converse, plain white tee, and dark ripped jeans. he wore a graphic white tee, black cargo pants, that dawn bought him but he refused to wear for a while—white air forces, his black-white hat and of course his black puffer.

"nobody wanna be like you, we not even dressed the same" jay said zipping up his jacket. "you just don't wanna admit i'm giving you style" dawn mumbled to herself as justin walked out his room.

the plan was for jay to get dropped off at dawn and vadah's place by jstar and then they'd catch an uber together to the mall. since vadah was out and had the car, dawn was stuck having to ride in an uber. she hated ubers.

"i'll see you when i get there, bye sunrise" dawn blushed at the nickname. jay had given it to her when they were in the "talking stage", quotations because jay told dawn they never had a talking stage. she was his from the jump apparently.

"bye megamind" she replied ending the call.
