omniscient
dawn pushed jay back by his shoulders before standing up. "yo what the fuck" she yelled wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. "yo you buggin" jay stood there looking at her, giving his usual nonchalant behavior.
"nah you buggin, you playin hard to get and shit" she looked at him before shaking her head. she wasn't playing 'hard to get' genuinely she felt like her time with justin was done with. 2 years down the drain and dawn was perfectly fine with that.
"i'm not even finna do this—nah let's do it, why the fuck i get a picture sent to my phone about cblu leaving yo house?" jay looked at her, waiting for whatever answer dawn had for him in that moment. "you mad cause camrin was at my house? nigga fuck outta here."
that was her business and whoever decided they wanted to be detective in front of her crib was goofy. "shoulda caught that nigga in the hill—and do what jay? you not doing shit to him" jay rolled his eyes.
"why you playing with me? woulda shot you and him" dawn laughed before walking to his door, "yeah alright justin—yeah okay opp thot."she paused, taking a deep breath before turning to him. dawn tried being the nice girl, she tried being sweet to everyone but jay—jay definitely knew how to push her buttons.
"say it again, dare you" jay smiled before leaning over her.
he crossed his arms over his chest, clearly he was amused by the girls anger. justins' never actually seen dawn physically do anything. back when they were dating and had their fights dawn would either just block him from her life for a while or yell back and forth with him. she never got physical.
"opp thot" justin repeated popping the 'p'. dawn nodded her head before she punched him in the mouth, like she said, she was sick of drill rappers playing her. "fucking playing with me like you crazy, hell wrong with you" she spoke up before unlocking the door and leaving.
she walked down the stairs, grabbing her things without speaking to melz and bria who sat in the kitchen cooking. "dawn you good?" bria asked her looking up from the cutting board. "perfect" the teen responded sarcastically before grabbing her phone from the sleeping toddler.
she heard rushed foot steps coming from upstairs as she put her shoes on. 'he bet not fucking touch me' she thought before being yanked by her arm. justin mugged her, his bottom lip busted and red.
"justin let me go" dawn said trying to pull her arm away, the drill rapper making his grip tighter and tighter every time she moved. "now i'd be wrong if i slap yo ass back" he said, dawn stopped moving and looked at him.
this definitely wasn't her jay. of course he stopped being her's when they broke up but still, this wasn't the same guy she fell for.
"you called me out my name, you dragged me to yo room, you been on some weird shit for the past what? three months and i kept letting it slide" dawn said as they both stared at each other. neither of them were yelling, both just talking to each other in very rough tones. "you had that punch coming eventually" jay rolled his eyes before letting her go.
