After school, JD was yet again not to be found by Veronica. She was done with his shit, She decided to go to his house instead.
The sky grumbled, it was very cloudy that day. Veronica gets in her car, and starts the engine. She makes her way through the streets of Sherwood, and to JD's neighborhood.
Veronica parks her car in JD's driveway. She stops her car engine, and takes a deep breath. The sky once again thundered, the girl got out the car before the rain could pour down.
She walked towards the roofed front porch of JD's extremely modern house (so fancy). Veronica rang the doorbell, she looked over her shoulder and the rain started to pour down strongly.
The door opened and Veronica looked back. JD answered the door, He looked worse than her. Jason had bags under his eyes, his eyes were puffy and he was missing his signature trench coat.
"Veronica what are you doing here?" JD was shocked.
"Hey, can I come in?" Veronica asked.
"Um-" She pushed past JD, purposely knocking into his shoulder as she walked in.
"Ok, I probably deserve that" He mumbled to himself.
"What has been up with you?" Veronica asks curiously.
"What do you mean?" JD defends himself.
Veronica scoffs, she was furious "Unbelievable! You've been avoiding me that's what! What is your damage?!" She screams at JD.
"Listen, I got to get somewhe-" He replies, but Veronica cuts him off.
"That too! It's always I got to go somewhere or my dad needs help!" She shouts.
JD grabs his trench coat who was hanging on the coat rack. He walks out the door and Veronica gasps and follows him "Oh no you are not gonna walk out on me!"
He bolts out the door, only to be poured on by the rain. He started to tear up, She grabs his arm so he stops in his tracks "Seriously JD, what did I do wrong? you've been acting so weird all week"
JD turns to Veronica "You did nothing Veronica, I swear its just I have a lot of things on my mind right now"
"Are you cheating on me? Who is it?" Veronica's voice started to break.
"No! God No! I told you I have a lot of things on my mind!" He screams.
"Ok so what is it?! You've been very distant! You haven't been answering my calls, and avoiding me at school! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JD JUST TELL ME IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE WITH ME ANYMORE BECAUSE YOU'VE BEEN TREATING ME LIKE SHIT!" Veronica snaps back at him
"I love you!" JD finally admits it.
Veronica's heart skipped a beat. She didn't even know what to do. She was frozen, her brain wasn't functioning correctly. It's like her whole body shut down.
"Alright, Veronica?! I love you and I never want to loose you! I didn't know how to feel at first so that's why I've been avoiding you! I didn't know how to admit it and I was terrified because well, I've never loved someone or even ever felt what I feel when I'm around you. I was so scared of what you'd say like you don't love me back or say that it's too soon. I didn't realize how much I hurt your feelings I'm so sorry. You are my world, and I don't know what I would without you!" he says with more emotion he's shown all week.
The pair stand staring at each other in the pouring rain. Veronica frozen, and JD waiting for a response.
Finally, Veronica speaks up "Yo-You love. Me?"
"Veronica, I love you with all my heart" He says genuinely
It had finally hit her, He really did love me. She smiled back at him.
"I love you too" she finally replies
"You do?" JD exhales sharply
"I do! I've never loved anyone as well, You're the first person I've ever seen myself with a possible future with. And I just-! I love you, Jason Dean!" She screams, with a big smile on her face.
Suddenly Veronica crashes her lips onto JD's they share a passionate kiss (its kinda like that scene in the notebook in the rain btw. ok im gonna shut up now heheh) JD lifts her from the ground and they pull away. They were now both smiling to each other uncontrollably.
JD puts Veronica down, and wraps his arms around her waist. She also puts her arms around his neck. "You love me" she teased, with a big smile. "And you love me" he said matching her energy.
Veronica caresses JD's cheek and he puts his hand on hers. They both lean in and share a gentle kiss. She nuzzles her head into JD's chest.
