Veronica puts on her shoes and looks in the mirror. It was a normal Wednesday morning, She woke up, picked an outfit and got ready.
She chose a blue striped blazer with matching striped shorts with a white plain shirt underneath the blazer. Paired with a black belt and black flats.
She goes down the stairs and sits down at the table. Her father sits down too with his newspaper in hand.
"So, Veronica have you been asked to prom yet?" Katherine asks biting into her toast.
"Yea, JD asked last week" She smiled widely
"Oh that is just great!" Her mother gushes
"I assume you will need money to buy a dress?" Victor asked smiling at his daughter.
"Of course I do" She replied playfully.
They all converse together until Veronica leaves for school.
She starts her station wagon and drives to school listening to the radio.

Chemistry was Veronica's last class before lunch. She walks to her locker grabbing her textbook when she feels a pair of arms wrap around her.
"Guess who" JD said kissing her ear.
"Oh I wonder" She turns around and smiles. They share a soft kiss and start walking to their class together.
They had Chemistry class together so they were going to the same room. The pair sat down at their shared table.
Mr. Dupont entered the classroom, he was an old man who worked at Westerburg for quite some time now. The man was never happy, it was a repeated cycle everyday. He enters the class and starts his lesson, barely even smiles.
He started his lesson, after about 10 minutes in, JD looks at Veronica's hand sitting plainly on the table. He holds her hand and rubs his thumb on the back of her hand.
She notices JD grabs her hand and smiles at him. They were seated a little bit far from the front so Mr. Dupont didn't notice.
JD becomes more bored still holding Veronica's hand when he decides to grab a pen. He starts doodling on her hand. Veronica looks at what he was doing and she chuckles silently.
She watches JD drawing on her hand, he drew a little bottle and a dog. He also wrote
JD loves Veronica
on her hand. Veronica watches him write this and he looks at her with a smile on his face. She returns his smile and puts her hand over her heart and mouths "I love you too"
Soon after, the bell rings and they get out the classroom to Lunch.

"So what do you wanna do this summer?" JD asked taking a fry from Veronica lunch tray and popping it in his mouth.
"I don't really know. OH! There's this summer camp that I volunteered at as a camp counselor last year" She replied.
"You want us to be camp counselors?" He raised an eyebrow
"It was fun last year, and plus you're great with kids!" Veronica stated.
"Mh"
"Pleaseee" She pouted.
"The pout? Really?" He looks away. She puts her hand on his shoulder.
"Alright, alright. I guess I'll be fine. It's just camp" He finally agrees.
"Yayy thank you so much!" Veronica exclaims giving him small kisses on his cheek.

"His name is Aaron and he plays band" Heather D. replied as they were all talking in the bathroom.
"Wow band, I'm surprised none of the jocks from the football team asked you" Heather M. said
"I'm pretty sure everyone on the football team has already asked her" Veronica chuckled
"You're not wrong" Heather D. laughed
"What made you say yes to Aaron then?" Heather M. asked
"He's the nicest guy ever, you wouldn't believe it." Heather smiled softly. "And well he's someone who doesn't see me as just an object to fuck" Her smile disappeared as she scoffed.
"Boys on the football team are just dumb assholes who think they can win you over by objectifying you" Veronica rolled her eyes.
"Atleast no one catcalls you when you're walking in the hallways" Heather M. picks at her fingers.
"It's because she's got that boyfriend of hers. Ever since JD shot blanks at Kurt and Ram, people think he's some psycho who carries a gun to school" Heather D. said.
Veronica laughs and the bells rings.
