I sat on the bed without saying anything.
I realized it started to rain. I could hear the droplets beating on my window.
Who knows when Aaron enters the forest, where he goes. Who knows if he has a shelter or if he is in the rain.
I chased my thoughts away, it was really strange, almost incomprehensible. I brought my knees to my chest and rested my head on them, I plunged back into my thoughts, but this time I prefer not to tell them.
Simply because staying awake would have accomplished nothing, I decided to fall asleep, letting the blanket wrap me around and drive away any kind of thought that was intoxicating my mind.
The following days went by, let's say that in this situation I had already understood that it would be like this. One day he shows up, the next 40 he doesn't.
To pass the time I took a school book and started studying, this matter of vampires, strange wolves and many other mysteries had taken me away from school.
Hours passed and I finally got into bed. Needless to say, I didn't sleep a wink that night. As always, I thought about it.
That boy was confusing me, I couldn't understand his moves or even his intentions. I didn't understand what was the reason for his approaching me. But I felt the need to have him here, close. Unfortunately I have to admit to myself that because of his eyes, his gaze, his touch I can't help it now.
I almost felt angry, every time I tried to stop him he let it go or walked away without ever saying anything, but I swear next time it won't be like this, I'll let him explain the whole situation.
My mind was clouded by another thought, my mom hadn't come home yet.
I checked the time and it was just after 6 in the morning, by which time the sun had made room in the dark, and was starting to illuminate the landscape around us.
I quickly got out of bed and looked out the window, my paranoias were swept away by the beauty before my eyes. It wasn't often that I woke up around 6, maximum 7 just to get ready for school. I have to say that the sun in the morning manages to create such a wonderful atmosphere, I feel almost safe, my breath catches seeing a wooded environment surrounded by sunbeams, as if they are trying in every way to illuminate the darkness that was hidden in it.
The birds began to chirp, which meant that the fauna was awakening from the sweet night.
My heart beat quietly again when I saw my mom's car go back to her place.
I put on a sweatshirt to warm up and went down the stairs, almost tripping.
"Mom! You're finally back, I was afraid something might have happened to you!" I yelled at her as I left the house going to hug her.
She limited herself to telling me that she was fine and that she had been late due to an unexpected event external to work that she preferred not to tell me about.
"What happened to dad won't happen to me my love .. don't worry and let's go inside and I'll prepare you something hot" she whispered in my ear while she gently stroked my hair.
She once again thought of me, not caring that she had spent the whole night awake.
"Don't worry mum, go and rest, I'll make myself something warm, maybe I'll go out here to read a book, even if the weather is nice".
She didn't repeat it twice, she went up the stairs yawning and I heard the door of her room slam, she was finally resting.
As I told you, I took a book and made myself a nice hot camomile tea, I left the house and sat down on the stairs that led outside.
The book I was reading spoke of a beautiful love story, Romeo and Juliet, their love brought their families to reconcile, their love so misunderstood and little lived, which led to the death of both, damned by that feeling that so strong bound them.
"How I wish someone felt what Romeo felt for Juliet, I don't think anyone would risk their life for me" I sighed closing the book.
"Being nearly killed by a wolf isn't enough for you, young lady?" the boy leaning against my mother's car asked suspiciously.
I skipped a beat and put my hand to my heart in fear.
"You have problems, you need to get treatment" I said to the muscular boy who was slowly approaching me with a hopeful air, it seemed that he wanted to hear me say something.
"So? Isn't that enough?" he asked me again lowering herself to my level.
"This is a different situation, you don't love me and I don't love you" i answered coldly, but because of the fear I was still trying to suppress.
He answered with a giggle and said to me "I must have given you quite a blow".
"You see," I replied with a hint of a smile.
I don't think I've ever focused on her face, especially during the day.
I was left with my mouth ajar and my eyes meeting they find his, almost eager, or maybe I was wrong, maybe they were mine eager, a tremor ran up my spine.
He continued to focus her gaze first on my eyes then incessantly on my lips, I felt as if I was tied to him, as if there was an invisible thread, it was love at first sight.
A boy I didn't know, I knew nothing about him.
Like me, he didn't want to detach that moment, but when I saw him approaching, I ruined the moment.
"Tell me about yourself, I'll tell you about me, I need to understand, I need you to explain to me what's going on and why you're here, with me" I threw out and let myself go to a liberating sigh.
"Okay, I'll tell you about me, but not here."
Not even the time to retort that I found myself on him like a bride, with my head in the crook of his neck, while I was holding on to his powerful shoulders, I felt his hands tightening my thigh and my shoulder to keep me safe, to keep me from falling.
Because of all these thoughts and the speed I closed his eyes so as not to throw up on him.
We arrived in front of a wooden house, very pretty from the outside.
We went up the stairs and I opened the door. The house was small, but so simple and beautiful.
It had a worn leather sofa suitable for just two people, with a very large television in front of it, surrounded by a couple of shelves on which, however, nothing rested.
In the same room was the kitchen.
A little further on a half-closed door gave a glimpse of colored tiles, he sensed that there was a bathroom, next to it a closed door, definitely the bedroom.
"Sit down, I have to tell you a lot of things" he ordered me in a serious way.
I sat down, ready to hear those words I've been waiting for so long.
