( bro- I know this fanfic is going to about Leo and his brothers, and also a bit about him and Yuichi *wink* *wink* But I'm gonna put a few chapters in other characters POV's ok- OK- )

-Yuichi's POV-

I yawn, waking up from my slumber. "Jeez I'm so tired, what time is it?" I ask myself, turning my head towards the alarm clock Leo had in his room.
2:14 am
"Ugh, two am? Really?" I say in my head, getting annoyed that I woke up so early. I lie back down, trying to go back to sleep, when I catch a glance at Leos face beside me. "He looks so peaceful.." I think, admiring my turtle friend with the dimly lit nightlight aluminating his face. Well surprise, surprise! Turns out I've liked this kappa for 3 years, I don't even know how these feelings managed to stay for that long. I sigh, feeling sad about my emotions for this turtle. "I'll just go out for a tiny walk in central park to get some fresh air." I tell myself, wanting to be alone with my thoughts. I slowly stand up, grabbing my blue hoodie and sword on Leos bed and started to quietly exit his room. But before I left, I wrote a little note on the bedside table. Just in case he woke up and was wondering where I was.
I climb up the ladder leading out of the sewers, making it to the top and removing the manhole cover blocking the exit. I hop out and feel the slightly cold breeze brushing over my head. I shiver a bit. Pulling my hoodie on top of my head, and beginning to walk to the park me and the gang always went to. After a few minutes and taking a few short cuts. I arrive at my destination. I breathe in, and breathe out. Feeling relaxed and calm. I walk over to a bench under a lamp post and sit down. Looking around the park, no one was there. "Hm, its not usually this quiet at night.." I get suspicious, grabbing a hold of my sword Edgewig attached to my belt. *snap!* "What was that!?" I jump up then turn towards the sound. "Whoever's there, come out now!" I threaten, but I don't think I look very intimidating because of my matching blue striped pajamas with Leo, underneath my hoodie. I walk around, looking every single direction to look for a threat. *Swoosh* an orange spiked yo-yo almost hits me in the face. "What the heck!?" I turn to where the yo-yo came from, to see a figure standing there. Swinging the yo-yo like weapon in circles, giving me a mischievous but deadly grin. "Whoopsies! Sorry bunny." The figure says, stepping out of the shadows to reveal....
A turtle? The moment I looked at him I thought of Leo, but this turtle looked nothing like him. For a few seconds I observed him. The mysterious turtle was a box turtle from my observations, and was wearing knee high black boots, along with elbow long black gloves and some dark orange knee pads and shoulder pads with faces on them. I look up focusing more on his face, and saw he was wearing a dark orange mask around his eyes, I even noticed the few yellow spots around his body. "Who are you!" I yell, unsheathing Edgewig from my belt and holding him up as a line of defense. "Don't worry! I don't mean any harm.." The box turtle started. "I simply want to know, if you know a certain....
Leonardo Hamato." "How do you- HOW DO YOU KNOW HIS NAME!" I yell, pointing Edgewig at him with an angry look in my eyes. "So you do know him!" The turtle says happily. "YES I DO! Now what do you want with him?" I ask, not wanting Leo in any way, get hurt. "Weeelll.. I'm not supposed to tell anyone about this buuut- Okay!" He says. "You see, my dad has a small grudge against his dad, and wants him dead." He explains, dragging his thumb across his neck at the word dead. "MICHAEL! You weren't supposed to tell him about the plan! Also Draxum told us NOT to call him dad." A nerd like voice says, another turtle popping out of a bush. This time, this turtle looked like a softshell turtle. But I was only assuming that from how heavily protected his back was. The softshell was wearing a dark purple lab coat, dark gray goggles atop of their large fore-head. Shorter, dark gray gloves on their hands. A black, slightly spiked what looked like to me a battle shell, and a dark purple mask covering half of their face. "Alright then rabbit" they bark. "You've heard WAY too much about our plans, prepare to meet your doom!" They say, grabbing a tiny button out of their hand. Pressing it, and the "button", turns into a purple bo-stick with a heavily spiked ball that appeared out of nowhere, hanging off a chain attached to the stick. The two lunged at me. I tried to dodge and block every single attack they threw at me, but that was starting to get tiring..

Meanwhile with Leon...

Leo was sleeping peacefully, still tucked into his sleeping bag when his eyes started to flutter open. "Hnghhh..-" He woke up, rubbing his eyes so he can see properly. He sits up, looking around to see Usagi not lying down beside him in his sleeping bag. "He probably went to the kitchen to get a midnight snack." He told himself, slipping out of his sleeping bag and going to the kitchen. He took a quick turn and entered the kitchen, only to see his dad eating a sandwich at the table. ( ok- in this AU Splinter is a tiny bit less lazy so he doesn't sit around on his damn chair watching commercials all the time. He also likes to meditate at the family shrine and train his son and friends daily ) "Hey pops" he greets. His dad looks up from his sandwich and greets back. "Hello son, how was your sleep?" He asks. "It was fine. Hey, have you seen Yui anywhere?" He questions, now starting to see bunny-boy wasn't in the kitchen at all. "Apologies son, I have not seen him anywhere." Splinter says, then going back to eating his sandwich. "Alright then pops, I'll just head back to my room now. Night!" Leon yells, walking out of the kitchen. "Goodnight my son!" Splints yells back. Leo walks back to his room face filled with worry. He starts to silently panic until he spots the note Usagi left on the bedside table before leaving. He picks up the letter and begins to read.

Hi Leo-san! If your reading this I'm at Central Park. Just wanted to get some fresh air is all!

-Yuichi

Leo sighs in relief, happy to now know where his friend is. He decides to go as well to Central Park, so he grabs his pale blue sweater and the orange scarf April got him for his 13th birthday. ( ok I'm making way too much commentary but in this AU the whole gang is 15 the eldest being Sunita and the youngest Casey. I will mention other characters ages soon. )

-No Ones POV-
-Slight blood warning-

Leo puts on the sweater and ties the scarf around his neck. He decides to grab a flashlight just in case it was too dark outside, but then remembered he forgot to buy batteries at the convenience store. He mentally slapped himself on the head and instead, he took out the lantern he had underneath his bed along with some matches. He snuck past the kitchen, knowing that his dad would not let him out at a time like this, unless it was for a mission. He climbed up the ladder and moved the cover to reveal the outdoors. He jumped out then began his journey to Central Park. When he arrived the first thing he did was light the lantern. The tiny flame inside glowing a bright yellow and orange, and when he looked up...

"YUICHI!"

He saw his friend being held up by the purple turtle. His head was bleeding, and he looked pretty beat up along with the small gash showing on the side of his chest, bleeding like hell. Yuichi looked up. "L-Leo.. Get o-out of here!" He said weakly, his sword Edgewig at his feet. The purple and orange turtle turned to look at him. "Let. Him. GO!" Leo yells grabbing his katana from his side and dashing towards the villains hurting the person he cared about the most. "AghH-" the purple one held their now bleeding shoulder, dropping Usagi on the ground. "Oh you are SO going to get it." The purple one gritted their teeth. But when they looked up, Leo was already running away with Yuichi and their swords in his arms. "UGH THAT LITTLE-" "Donatello, calm down. We'll get them next time." The box turtle says. "NEXT TIME!? Michelangelo, what if there is no next time!" The softshell now identified as Donatello yelled at the box turtle now identified as Michelangelo. Mikey looked down in shame and sadness, he hated being blamed and scolded. "You know what? At this point I don't even care." Donnie says, grabbing a small contraption from their pocket and throwing it, making a portal to the Hidden City. The two walk through the portal, it closing behind them.

( Hahahaha- cliffhanger- cuz this chapter is too dang long- )
