"Jake, are you and your family gonna be okay?" I asked standing outside my house. "Yes, I promise we will be fine." He said kissing my forehead. "Call me." I said letting go of him. "I will love." He smiled letting go of me. I watched him walk away from my front porch.
"Y/N. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" My mom shouted swinging open the front door. "No where." I said walking inside. My mom slammed the door shut. "Then why was there a sighting of moon?." She said showing me a news article online.

"I-" "Save it." My mom said interrupting me. "Mom you don't understand!" I shouted. "You're right! I don't understand! I don't understand why you're acting like this! Ever since you met that- that family you've been acting out!!" "Acting out?" "Yes!!! You've been throwing our family secret out like nothing!! Next time your gonna tell me is that Jake kid is a villain!" She shouted at me. "Mom! What's next?? That I am a disappointment?? Go ahead and kick me out or disown me!!" I yelled. My sister and father ran down the stairs. "I'm not doing this." I said walking to the front door. "Y/n where do you think you're going?" My mom said. "Away from you." I said slamming the door. I may have the power to fly but it's to dangerous to use. So I'll just run to Jakes house. It's like 11 pm. God. I climbed up to Jakes window. I urgently hit the glass window. Jake slowly opened the window. "Y/n?" He asked. I climbed through the window. I hugged him immediately without saying a word. "Are you alright? You're worrying me." He said hugging me back. "I just had a fight with my parents." I said. "Can I stay here?" I asked. "Of course you can." He said. I huddled up next to Jake as he wrapped his arms around me tighter.
Even if he was a villain, he's still my safe place.
It was the next morning. Me and Jake decided to go out on a coffee date.
"I'd like a peppermint hot chocolate please." I said. "I'll do the same" Jake said handing the cashier money. "Name for the order?" The person asked us. "Jake-" "Y/n- "we both said cutting eachothers off. "Y/n madden." Jake said then looking at me while smirking. I just looked at him with no expression on my face. But I tried my best to hide the tint of red.
We grabbed our drinks and walked outside. Jake told me he'd be back. One of his friends needed help at his job or something. "Nice to see you here y/n.." a voice said behind me. "Wyatt." I mumbled. "Don't tell me you're with that villain." "He's not a villain." "Please. We both know that's a lie." "He's changed." I stated grinding my teeth as the words came out. Wyatt brought his hands around me. I tried to push him away. "I'd be much better with you then he is." I heard Wyatt mumbled. "Hey!" Someone shouted. I looked up as Wyatt turned around letting me go. It was jake. Before I could react Jake punched Wyatt in the face. Wyatt hunched over holding his nose. "Let's go y/n/n." Jake said grabbing my hand and pulling me away.
