After my second meeting with Haechan, I was quick to grab my camera from Yoonah at the reception. Thankfully, she hadn't moved any of my stuff to the hotel room I'd be staying at tonight-meaning I wasn't that late. I retrace the steps of the tour Jisung had kindly given to me and found the room fairly quickly.

Upon entering the rehearsal, it was set up like a real-life venue. Light fixtures hanging from the ceiling, a large stage set up with instruments and microphones. Stalls of seats lined the area with a few of the crew members seated in them. Jaemin settled on the wooden platform, his arms relaxed behind his back and legs straight in front of him. Renjun and Mark sat crisscrossed opposite him whilst Jeno had taken a seat behind the drum set positioned in the back centre of the stage.

It was surreal, and difficult to take in. Dream were not just a small indie band trying to make a name for themselves in the industry. They were rockstars, trying to sustain their careers and clean up their act. And it all depended on me.

"There's the star of the show," Jaemin hollered bringing his hands around to cup his mouth.

Everyone's eyes fell on me and I smile, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

"I'm very flattered, Jaemin," I laugh.

"He's not talking about you Angel," I jump at the low nasally voice whispering behind me. My head snaps around.

Haechan is stood a few inches away from my frame. His gaze looking down threw unrested bloodshot eyes. The brown colour from a moment ago had long disappeared. Replaced by the black of his pupils.

"He's talking about me."

The other four boys on the stage laughed, and a few of the crew members mumbled out low giggles. Not wanting to display the humiliation I was feeling I laugh along with them. Haechan didn't seem too convinced, cocking his head to the side and shrugging.

"You didn't think he was talking about you, did you?"

"Of course not!" I bite, far too quickly and harshly.

He smirks, "There's no need to get defensive. I was just asking a simple question."

"I'm not being defen-"

He brings his finger up to my lips, silencing me. Then, he's brushing past me hard enough for our shoulders to collide and sauntering down the staircase towards the stage. He pulls Jaemin up from the floor who's quick to lace his guitar strap around his neck. Mark follows suit, a guitar pick between his teeth as he tunes his own electric instrument, whilst Renjun grabs his bass. Haechan throws his jacket off and signals a light nod to Jeno who begins to clash his drumsticks together.
