Chapter 2

"Hello and welcome to Hope's Peak! I'm the principal of this academy, monokuma! I welcome you folks to your new living ground! You folks are in this academy for the rest of your lives!" Monokuma said in a happy tone.

"F-for the rest of our lives?" Hyper said in fearness. I could tell she was really scared, I felt really bad for her and wanted to comfort her but I was also shocked that I couldn't move.

Charon noticed I was shaking a little and held my hand in hopes of making me feel less scared. Whenever I was a little scared, Charon always made me feel less scared than normally, I feel like with him there's always a safe place and I was ok.

Then the bear started talking again, "Yep, you guys have to stay here forever until.... Murder happens."

When all of us heard that, we were scared, all of us didn't want to die. Everyone had a feeling in their guts that they would die early..

"THERES NO FUCKING WAY ALL OF US ARE GOING TO KILL EACH OTHER!" Frances shouted.

"If no one is going to, then here's a deal, if you get away with killing someone, then you get to get out of here. Now go off and get killing!" monokuma disappeared out of thin air.

I went to hyper and realized she was really scared. I saw tears forming into her eyes and was shaking a lot.
I-I don't want to see people getting killed, I know I would but-" Hyper stuttered and started crying a bit.
"Hey, no one's going to get killed, I know you're a strong person and we can all escape from here together." I said to comfort her.
"If you're really scared next time, remember to know that we will always to here to make sure you'll feel better." Charon said in a comforting voice.
"T-thank you" hyper said with a smile.
"Ofc!" I said while being glad that charon and I made her feel better.

Stephanie then walked over to us, followed by Kennith, and signed something in asl I didn't understand. I asked Kennith for help to interpret,
"Ohh she asked if hyper is ok, she saw that she was crying a second ago and wanted to make sure she was ok." Kennith said so Norman could understand.
"Yea she's ok now!" Norman responded to stephanie, Stephanie then was glad hyper was ok.

"To be honest I think we should try to discover our surroundings and maybe an exit here so should we split up into groups?" Tamari suggested while walking up to Charon.
"Actually, that's a good idea!" Charon responded.

"Ok so if we have 17 people here then there should be 3 groups of 4 and 1 group of 5." Mothku suggested.
I planned that groups in my head for a moment, and presented them out loud. "Alright, so Mothku, hyper, you can go with me and Charon, Tamari goes with Nana, Stephanie, and Maika, Chris goes with Nancy, Kennith, and Arc, and Henry goes with Say, Au-"
"WAIT! Arc and I CANNOT go separate since he tends to do dangerous things whenever I'm not with him." Say interrupted all of a sudden.

I then reordered the last two groups to make Arc and Say be in a group together. "Ok ok! Arc can go with you, Aura, and Henry while Kennith goes with Nancy, Chris, Frances, and Uncanny. Got it?"

Everyone nodded their heads in agreement that they are comfortable with their groups.

When all of us split up to go to the different locations throughout the academy, I noticed a red door and tried to open it but it was shut tight. I wonder what was in there Monokuma is trying to hide from us? Who knows if it's an exit out or not? Oh well, if it was, they really don't like us going out of here.

During exploring the location, we found a door the led to a garden, it had willow trees, bushes, and anything you can usually find in a garden. This place didn't even have sunlight seeping through here at all. As I made a closer look at the garden, I accidentally poked myself with one of the bush leaves and my finger started to bleed. It wasn't bad but we decided to look around for a bandage so I didn't get infected. After looking for a few minutes, we didn't find one so i managed to rip a small amount of bandage that was already covering my arms and used it to where I was bleeding.

Overall, the four of us didn't really find any exit but Hyper found a ripped piece of worn out paper and it looked like a letter to someone named "Epta." I remember something about this letter even though I just saw this for the first time. Charon told me he knew Epta so I decided to ask him about it.
"I know this is our first time seeing this letter but I remember seeing this before, I don't know how since I haven't stumbled into this letter at all till now."

"I think I know why, let's say God wanted to rip Epta's brain out to create you, and there's a chance you still have memories that belong to theirs, like right now for example" Charon explained while we were walking back to the gym to meet up with the rest.

That explains why I have been having memories the weren't mine every now and then. I mostly had dreams of a guy named Luke and me being Epta. These memories gave me a glimpse of what their life was before they disappeared. Perhaps they're here... somewhere.

When we walked into to gym to meet up, all of us explained what we found and the locations they searched.

During the meet up, Kennith told us that his group found out about other people before us participated in this killing game. I knew we weren't the only ones who were forced to be in this academy. I heard people escaping the killing game, but it was only four.

It gave us hope that we could escape, but there's was a 99% chance all of us couldn't. Doesn't hurt to try, right?
