Nine

The next day, Holly was sound asleep as Stefan played with her hair. He smiled as he could picture a life with Holly Gilbert. The blonde woke up and looked up at him. "Good morning."

"Good morning, baby."

"I remembered what she said."

"What did she say?"

"That I broke the Petrova bloodline. Apparently, I broke the doppelgänger curse." She tells him. "What curse that may be, but I don't care."

Stefan kissed her as the door opened causing Stefan to cover her up. "We have a new vampire." Damon tells them.

Holly stared in shock that there was a new vampire, but who was he?

At school, Holly was in her own little world when Elena saw her. "Are you okay?"

The blonde looked at her shocked. "You actually care?" She says. "Ever since we gotten older, you started hating me for no reason." She says. "I don't trust you."

Elena watched Holly walk away. She may hate her sister, but she still cares. She saw Holly go outside causing her to walk to the window to see Stefan kissing her sister. It hurt that Stefan is in love with her sister and seeing how happy they are. "Elena..."

"I'm not." She says. "I'm more scared of Holly than anything."

Bonnie nodded as she saw how happy her friend was. She could tell they were stronger together than apart, but she wondered what they were talking about. Stefan put his arm around her waist as they left talking about the new vampire.

"Where's Damon at now?"

"Looking for the new vampire."

"I wonder who it is." She says.

"I don't know, but I'm going to make sure you are safe." He says. "I can't have anything happening to you. I love you."

Holly smiled as she hugged him. "I love you."

Stefan smiled as this girl was everything to him. He couldn't lose her to anyone or anything. Holly looked up at him and kissed him. That moment, he knew, he will turn Holly.

Later that night, Holly walked around the career fair with Caroline. The two always had plans together, but there was one they don't have a plan for. They're future careers. "I wished to know what we are doing."

"Has Stefan figured out what he is doing?"

"No." She says. "We haven't talked about it." She sighed. "I hope I have a future with him."

"I can see it." She says. "You do."

Holly smiled as she saw Stefan walking over to her causing her to kiss him. Caroline smiled as she walked away. "It's Logan."

"How did you..."

"I saw Elena and Jenna and asked where you were just for Jenna to hide behind Elena. I saw Logan and knew." He says. "Right now, his emotions are heightened." Holly didn't know what to say. "I need you to go to my house and wait for me."

Holly nodded as she kissed him. Stefan watched her walk away and hated that he made this decision to keep her safe. He turned around to see no sign of Logan and had a very bad feeling. He pulled his phone out as Elena walked over. "Holly's gone."

"I told her to wait for me at home."

Matt walked over to them. "Logan just left with her."

Stefan didn't hear Damon as he knew. "Find Logan's car."

Elena went to say something, but he left. Matt looked at Elena and sighed. "Just give up." He tells her. "You see what everyone else sees. Stefan loves Holly. Let her be happy."

"Especially with the way you have been treating her." Caroline says as she walked by.

Elena knew that they were telling the truth, but she wasn't going to make a move. She was only going to tell him to bring Holly back safe.

The blonde woke up groaning. She noticed she was in Stefan's room. "Stefan?"

Stefan walked in with a glass of water. She got out of bed and ran to him. Stefan held her close as she cried. "I thought..."

"I did too." He says kissing her head. "I thought I almost lost you." Holly smiled. "You do know that I will have myself killed just to be with you."

"But..."

Stefan cut her off as he kissed her. "You are my life, Holly and one day, I want to marry you." He says taking her shirt off. "Travel the world...."

"Stefan, we have forever."

"You want to be turned?"

Holly smiled making him kiss her out of joy. Stefan laid her back on the bed causing her to laugh as they were finally continuing what they started.

Elena arrived to check on Holly, even though she didn't understand why, but she was. She heard her sister and Stefan causing her to glare. She turned to see a door. She opened it and walked in. She didn't know who's room, but she was curious.

Elena turned as the moaning kept getting louder causing her to bump into a shelf. She saw a book fall and pick it up to see a picture of a girl that looked just like her.

Inside Stefan's room, Holly and Stefan laid together. The blonde loved feeling Stefan run his fingers through her hair. "Stefan, what do you think will happen in the future for us?"

Stefan looked at her and smiled. "The future will come for us, but for now, let's focus on now. We have plenty of time to see what happens, but I do know, I have you forever."

"I have you forever." She says kissing him.

Stefan laughed as Holly climbed on top causing Holly to laugh. This woman was Stefan's everything. She was a mystery, but he loves that about her.
