< Bas' POV >

I sit bored in my first class listening as James Millwaki's voice reads out each individual name to the role.
"Jacob Hargrove"
....
Mr. Millwaki turns to me with a clear question.
"No show again?"
I look to the seat next to me which is once again empty, like it has been the whole week
I give the man a shrug and an apologetic smile as he clicked his tongue then crosses something out on his clip board.

Waiting a few minutes I pull out my phone.

<Jay's POV>

I stand out front of the mall mindlessly scrolling on my phone when I feel something flick my ear. Snapping my head towards the direction of the hit my eyes meet with Bas' ear-to-ear grin.

"Hey Jay" pocketing my phone I begin to walk with Bas into the shopping centre.
"Hey Bas. How was hell" he just shrugs simply
"It was just normal, boring school. You should seriously show up at least once man, Mr. Millwaki keeps asking me if you'll show"
Sighing I just shake my head in displeasure.
"No thanks man. You know I can't stand more than three hours of classes. Just sitting there is so boring, I need to do something" Bas just snorts.
"Yeah and let's not forget the fact that you hate people, and being told what to do, oh and let's not forget you hate listening" I jokingly elbow Bas in the ribs which earns me a snort and a chuckle from his behalf.
"Let's just go look at the shops you dick"
And that we do.

"Hey man I'm starving. Do you want something from the food court?" I look over my shoulder at my best friend. Who is currently holding his stomach and groaning dramatically.
"Just get me whatever you're getting man I'll pay you back later" Bas' face immediately lights up and he almost bounces on the spot.
"Sure thing JayJay! I'll meet you out front of the shop when I'm done just wait for me" I hum in agreement then turn around and continue to pay.
