Sweet memories

Auretta is sitting on a log and looking how the sun shines the water of the little lake. She use to practice magic here with Grimhilde, they met there first, they had so many conversations her, and still not one time she mentioned that tiny fact that she is her mom. She imagined millions of time how they would met. She would hug her and tell her how much she loves her and they would live happily ever after. As a kid she didn't wanted to be a queen, all she wanted her mommy's hug and love. And now here she is, but still missing one piece: her telling the truth. Why she did this? At the first time when they met here she was visibly exhausted, confused, she even told her story to Auretta how she lost her daughter. She took her in, Isabell saw her, and told nothing. They both were silent. Grimhilde took every moment to help to her and be with her. Like the magic practice, or advices about Andrew. And when Morana stood up Auretta, and she became a sassy little girl she took every torture, every tantrum, every offend and maltreat, and still stayed with her. Just smiled a her and accepted the fact that she can't do anything, and have to watch how Auretta ruins her life. In that moment she realized how rude she was again, there was the moment what she waited for, there was her mother, explaining and apologizing her by the way selfless act, and all Auretta did was hurting her, again for being a mother. She starts to cry as she realizes how bad she was to the one person who deserves the most love and recognition.
Grimhilde is watching her from the distance and lowers her head as she sees her daughter suffer. She doesn't really knows what to do. Go there or don't? She doesn't want to upset her, but she was too long in the dark, and all she wants now to be there for her. She finally decides to go there and talk to her. Grimhilde sits down next to her daughter and stays there without a word, she waits until Auretta calms down.
-Sorry I was so rude! - she says as she still looks the lake with tears in her eyes.
Grimhilde looks at her and sees the regret and the guilt. She does not talking about the last conversation, she talks about the other one, the time when she became upset when Grimhilde wanted to remember her that her mother wouldn't like what's happening, and Auretta almost sent her away.
-You don't have to apologize honey! - she says as she holds her hand - You were right! I should have told you who I am, especially when you were really down and you would have needed me. I was unable to be there for you because I was to scared to tell you the truth.
-No! You were perfect =, I was the mess. I hope one day you can forgive me.
-Oh sweetheart! I don't have to forgive you anything! You are my most precious treasure, and I love you more than anything!
Auretta finally looks at her and smiles at her, Grimhilde hugs her. Finally she got what she always wanted, nothing else, just this moment: she got back her mother, her advises, her hugs, her love, her caring and protection. Nothing on the Earth can be more important than this. She would give up anything for her, and now she has her.
-I love you mommy.
-I love you too sweetie, and I promise from now one nothing and no one can separate us!
-Well, that's not entirely true. Snow White is still out there! She told me the truth just to make me watch how she will kill you.
-That's not going to happen, and you know why?
-Because she is alone, and we are here to each other?
-Exactly! And don't forget! This time everyone is on our side! And we both have magic, we will win!

Andrew finally decides that it was enough. He won't torture himself anymore. Grimhilde is right! Morana's death only will be disgraced if he doesn't stand up and do what she asked: win then be happy with his love. Who is out there without any protection, meeting with that monster to negotiate. At least Grimhilde is there with her, but who knows what could happen. He should be there too. If they don't come back soon, he will go there and see himself the situation.
But few minutes later he hears the door closing and he rushes there to see who came home.
As he looks the entrance the view totally shocks Andrew: Grimhilde and Auretta hugging each other and laughing as they coming in.
-Wow, that must have been an interesting meeting! - he says and they both looks at him.
-Yes, well thank you Andrew very much (by the way) that you told me my mom is still alive and she's there with me.
-Sorry I had to keep her secret, I had to make my future mother in low like me, especially because at the start she really hated me!
-I told you, I'm sorry Andrew! - answers Grimhilde smilingly
-Yeah, I know, I only had to sacrifice myself for this. - he says and they all laughing.
-Should I ask how this happened?
-All you need to know Snow's plan didn't work! We will win! Right mom?
-Indeed honey! - she answers as she smiles at her, they all goes in the kitchen and Grimhilde makes some tea. - Do you remember when you were little and couldn't sleep I always made you tea to put you sleep.
-It was not the tea, the bed time stories and your presence helped me. Every moment worth the world to me, you had so many duties and I was thankful when you had time for me.
-You know, I wanted to help to the subjects so bad, that I often forget I have more important things to do, like use the time what's left to love my daughter. I will never make the same mistakes again, and I hope, you won't either! Being a queen and serve your subjects is important, but family is more important! I learned it in the hard way.
-Don't worry mom! We will have plenty of times! But we have to defeat Snow before she defeats us!
-You know she wasn't that bad when she was a child.
-I know! Before me!
-It wasn't just you! Your father's death and me being a queen and don't spending enough time with her also helped. I failed her as a mother.
-Don't think like that! She is a bad person after all, tortured all of us, and killed her own daughter! - said Andrew.
-By accident! - answers Grimhilde.
-No, don't excuses her, mom! She was a bad mother, she never took care of Morana. All she needed is love! Just like me!
-And you don't have to worry about that anymore, sweetheart! - she says as she hugs her.
-So what's next? - asks Andrew.
-Our kingdom needs to know that Queen Grimhilde is back, and we will save them from Snow! We have to host a gathering and start to prepare for the final fight!
-I will prepare everything! - says Andrew - Until then, you two! Use this time to swim in the big ocean called sweet memories, because who knows what comes next! - he finishes knowing Snow is out there making the next step to kill them, and if they not ready for her, they all will fall, again.
