"Before you speak, don't move 'cause I don't wanna wake up."

Leonardo and Giovanna were currently side-stage at the Ariana Grande concert. Leo was shocked when Joan led him and his niece to watch the show from the sidelines. Joan claimed it was because she wanted to know the pair more, but he knew something was up. He didn't question it. Though he was thankful, he was further away from the main speakers and the loud crowd.

"BOY, YOU'RE SUCH A DREAM TO MEEEEEE"

Leo flinched slightly when his niece, who was on his shoulders, yelled out what he presumed to be the following lyric.

I may have spoken too soon.

Although suffering from PTSD, Leo can quickly shake himself out of it around his niece. Yes, the screaming from his niece and several other fans wasn't ideal. But he could just tolerate it. What really throws him off is loud noises that resemble bombs or gunfire. Leo had only been back for nearly a month, so he genuinely felt he was doing much better than expected, especially after this morning's incident.

Giovanna continued to sing along throughout the whole show. Leo attempted to sing along to the few songs he thought he knew. But when he had muttered the words 'Bacon n' eggs' instead of 'thank u, next!' all eyes were on him.

Frankie and Joan were gobsmacked and utterly shocked that Leo had genuinely thought those were the lyrics. Nonna Marjorie was in such a laughing fit that she genuinely thought her bladder wouldn't hold. Giovanna turned to her uncle and scolded him immediately before reminding him not to embarrass her.

Victoria and Courtney, two of Ariana's close friends, couldn't help but eye him curiously from the side, both shocked at his lack of knowledge but attracted to it simultaneously. They had heard all about him that afternoon after Ariana had dropped him off. The pop star face timed them with a sparkling grin that she could not hold back. She had recounted what had happened, withholding some information that she thought was personal or just simply wanted to keep to herself.

At some point in the concert, Frankie took Giovanna to the front of the stage to further see and experience the show. Leo, hesitant at first to send his niece with practically a stranger, couldn't say no when he heard Giovanna squeal in excitement. Throughout the performance, Leo began to get to know the Grande family further, including Courtney and Victoria, and he was well aware they had been staring at him the whole time before.

Marjorie grabbed the boy's arm and asked him if he could lead her closer to the side of the stage. Truthfully she could have done it on her own, but she wasn't going to let him know that. From here, they had a better view of the pop star singing and smiling at all her fans. Marjorie, with her arm still looped in the soldier's well-muscled one, was delighted as she observed the aforementioned boy smiling radiantly at her granddaughter with amazement and admiration.
