"Honey, I'm home!"

Elena's voice ripped through the apartment as she dragged her luggage through the door. Upon hearing no response from her girlfriend, Elena's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Sofia?" She called out again, leaving her suitcase by the door.

As she walked down the hallway, her gaze landed on a pile of what seemed to be previously damp clothes piled in the corner, all crumpled.

Elena's concern deepened as she approached the living room, finding it unusually dishevelled. What confused her more was the sight of a body cuddled up in blankets on the couch, long jet-black hair peeking out from underneath the blankets.

Is that Stella?

"Stella?" Elena walked towards the still figure on her couch, nudging her gently.

The figure on the couch stirred slightly, then slowly sat up, revealing Stella Esposito's tired and puffy eyes.

"Elena," Stella croaked, her voice hoarse. "I didn't know you were here."

"It's my home... What are you doing here?" Elena laughed, then gently patted the girl on her head, "Anybody home up here?"

Stella blinked a few times, trying to clear the fog in her mind. "I... I couldn't go home, the roads were blocked, and then I just stayed here another night," she mumbled, her voice barely audible.

Elena nodded slowly, "Okay..." Elena turned her head, searching the room with her gaze, "Where's Sofia?"

Stella's eyes darted around the room, a confused expression crossing her face before realization dawned on her. "She went to get some Coffee from that shop down the road."

Elena's tense body relaxed at that statement and then jumped when she heard her girlfriend's voice from behind her, "Awww, were you worried about me?"

Elena spun around to find Sofia standing in the doorway with a bright smile and two cups of coffee in her hands. Relief washed over Elena as she rushed towards Sofia, enveloping her in a tight hug.

"I was so worried when I came home and didn't find you here," Elena confessed, burying her face in Sofia's shoulder, "I thought I mixed up the day's when you were leaving and that you had already gone."

Sofia chuckled softly, gently rubbing Elena's back. "I'm sorry, babe. Just went to get coffee for sleeping beauty over there."

Stella glared at the soldier and grumbled something about knowing some hitman, causing Sofia to chuckle even more.

Elena pulled away from the embrace, a smile playing on her lips. "Well, I'm glad you're both here," she said, taking one of the coffee cups from Sofia's hand and giving Stella a knowing look. "Coffee for you too, sleeping beauty."
