"I'm telling you; you should seriously go see her!" "NO, I don't want to face her." "Ugh, Scaraaaa!" Heizou was trying his best to convince Scaramouche to just see his mother for a small amount of time, although it was proving to be near impossible. Heizou was silent, trying his best to think of something to bribe Scaramouche to go see her, Scaramouche did not have favorite things. "If I go, I'm buying Inazuma sake on my way back." Heizou shrugged, he didn't care if Scaramouche drunk alcohol, Heizou himself drunk sometimes and Scaramouche was well beyond they age to buy himself alcohol anyways. Heizou just nodded and Scaramouche realized that Heizou simply didn't care, he was out of ways to get Heizou to stop trying to get him to see his mum.

Being himself, he wanted to get this meeting with his mother over, he trudged over to Heizou, grabbed his wrist and started dragging him along to the Grand Narukami shrine. "If I'm going anywhere, you're also coming with me." Heizou walked along side Scaramouche as they climbed the mountain up to the shrine, greeted by Yae Miko herself, both were exceptionally surprised she even knew they were coming. Yae brung both to the plane of Euthymia (Heizou was there per Scaramouches request). Yae left almost immediately after Ei's eyes laid Apon Scaramouche. "Heizou, refer to me Kunikuzusi in front of my mother." Scaramouche whispered into Heizous ear as the puppet and its creator stood staring at each other. Heizou nodded simultaneously as he observed the obvious tension looming, it was overly suffocating, but of course, Heizou was the one most affected by it. Softly, Heizou brung his hand to Scaramouche shoulder and gave it a soft and encouraging squeeze.

He stepped forward, his best friends' hand in his as he approached his mother without caution. "Kunikuzushi." Ei spoke firmly as she eyed her son carefully, he had free will, yet it was so weird to see her son, the son who had been so mad at her for centuries, in front of her with an unamused facial expression. "I missed you." Scaramouches hand clenched around Heizous tightly to the point of discomfort for both. Ei's voice was very sincere, she had missed him, she had made a mistake and she was going to fix it.

"I am incredibly sorry you went through it all, I'm proud of you for staying strong." Scaramouche's face began to form a scowl, his eyes pricked with tears, his mother was proud of him, but it took 500 years. "Kuni, you'll be alright." A soft, breathy voice was present next to him, it took him to reality. He looked Ei in the eye, "Thank you mother." Eis eyes widened as Heizou stood with a smile on his face. Ei started to slowly walk towards Heizou and Scaramouche, both males showed no sign of walking off. A swift movement and both were encased in a hug, a hug from the electro archon? yes. "Heizou, I would like to thank you for looking after him these past few months." Heizou smiled softly "It is my pleasure your majesty." Scaramouches eyes were full of tears, he was ready to cry, he got validation from his mother, his mother was hugging him... it is everything he ever wanted, he felt a weight lift off his shoulders, he had everything he wanted, a mother, a best friend, but something still felt like it was missing.

By the time Scaramouche had finished thinking to himself, Heizou and Ei were speaking in formal terms, "You two are formal, for what?" Heizou chuckled, Ei smiled at Scaramouche, the two began to speak again, but it was almost like they knew the other for a while. Scaramouche did contribute to the casual conversation in snippets, preferring to be quiet.

During the casual conversation, Ei often was staring at the gap separating the friends, they were holding hands, Heizous hand far more relaxed and Scaramouches hand was tightly holding onto his best friends. They held hands like lovers, but Scaramouche and Heizou only addressed themselves as friends. Ei took it upon herself to ask. "Are you two dating?" The sudden question made Heizou shut his mouth and his face brightened to a pink, he looked down and shook his head gently. "Mother, I can assure you; we are only friends." Scaramouche stated this, yet his face was also bright from blush, Ei decided to push just a small bit... "You know Kuni, I wouldn't mind if he was my son-in-law! He seems kind, intelligent, very beautiful I'd say and considering the way you look-" Scaramouche clasped a hand over his mother's mouth and Ei looked very amused with herself. "I suppose me and Heizou should get going!" Ei nodded and proceeded to allow them to leave the plane.

The sun pierced the blue sky and shunned down radiantly as it reached the middle of the sky signifying the beginning of the evening. "I'm still getting the Sake." Scaramouche stated before walking off and beginning to leave the shrine with Heizou closely following. "Okay, but I will pay." Scaramouche rolled his eyes and looked back towards Heizou, "I make more money, I want the Sake, I pay." Scaramouche rolled his eyes while speaking and Heizou just chuckled; they meet where the path split, Heizou retreated to his home, but not after waving a temporary goodbye to Scaramouche, Scaramouche would show up his house sooner or later that day anyways.

Heizou was correct, after the parting of paths Scaramouche showed up at Heizous door, he seemed to have gained a habit of kicking the door open and announcing his presence even though, if a kick was evident in the soundless air, he would know it would be the harbinger.
