"ah i'm so excited!" mia shook her best friend's shoulders, as they approached the famous camp nou stadium. there were hundreds of people around, creating a buzz around the stadium, one that mia was very familiar with.
"i must admit, it is very impressive," olivia said, staring up at the ground in awe, just like everyone did when seeing the home of football in barcelona. coming to this stadium was every football fan's dream.
"yeah, i know. this is what i've been trying to tell you, and it's even better once you're inside. come on," she grabbed olivia's hand, basically dragging her towards the turnstiles, so they could enter the stadium and find their seats.

"oh my god, these seats are incredible," mia says, looking around at the stadium that she's missed so much after so many years of being away. they were seated a couple of rows away from the front, quite close to the tunnel, so they were hopefully going to get some good pictures of the players coming out.
"yeah, they should be considering how much you paid for them. also, you're going to have to tell me who everyone is, and explain some of the rules to me, because i really don't have a clue," olivia laughed. she'd only ever really watched football if mia was watching it when she was at her house, but she never paid attention. this was a whole new experience for her and she didn't really know how to take it all in.
"you'll be fine, don't worry about it. you mainly have to just go with the flow, especially when you're at a game, because no one really cares about all the technical stuff, because they just want to have a good time, really. but if there is something you get confused about, just ask me and i'll try and explain it the best i can. just don't ask me what the offside rule is because i don't even think the match officials even know what it is at this point."

it wasn't long before the players came out of the tunnel to do their pre-match warm up, gaining a round of applause from the fans that were already at their seats. olivia asked who each of the players were, and which number they played with, so mia started naming them as if they were just other people that she knew. "...and that one there, running now, is pedri, he's number sixteen. remember the one i was telling you about, who played over seventy games in a single year, well, that's him."
"seventy games," olivia exclaimed. "how is he not dead? i'd pass out after just playing one game a year."
"well, that's just how good he is, he's one of my favourites for a reason," mia said, pulling out her phone to take a picture of the players warming up.
"one of your favourites, huh," olivia winked at her best friend and raised her eyebrows.
mia huffed with a smile on her face. "not like that, i just enjoy watching him play that's all," she turned away with a smirk on her face.
"oh my god, you absolutely have a crush on him, don't you?" olivia burst out laughing, which drew the attention of a couple of the people who were sitting near them.
"i do not! a talent crush, maybe, but not a crush crush."
"yeah right," she giggled. "mia and pedri sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g..."
mia slapped olivia on the arm, "liv, i swear if you don't stop it, i'll ask security to kick you out."
"i'll stop when you admit you have a crush on your fave pedri," she beamed at the brunette in front of her.
