This takes place at the first session with Wednesday and Dr. Kinbott

Wednesday's pov

"Dr. Kinbott's office is on the second floor. Other Nevermore students swear by her" Weems said while parking the her car outside.

"You'll be waiting here until I'm done?" I asked already knowing the answer

"Perhaps afterwards we can visit the Weathervane for hot chocolate" Weems offered but her suggestion didn't keep me from seeing her true intentions.

"Principal Weems, this feeble attempt at bonding is beneath you. And chauffeuring your students around is clearly below your pay grade"

"Giving your history I'm sure you're intent on running away " she calmly explained with a, not so well, hidden smile. "I'm here to prevent that from happening"

"I wish you luck"

                            ~~~~ • ~~~~
"I read the notes from your school counselor" the blond said
"Mrs. Bronstein. She had a nervous breakdown after our last session, had to take a six-month sabbatical"
"Go ahead and take a sit"
I sat down facing Dr.Kinbott while she asked me how i felt about the incident
"Vindicated" i exclaimed "But someone who crochets for hobby isn't a worthy adversary"
She mumbled something about trust and safe place while i scoffed
"This is a safe place Wednesday, a sanctuary where we can discuss anything. What you're thinking, feeling, your views on the world, personal philosophy.
"That's easy. I think that this is a waste of time. I see the world as a place that must be endured, and my personal philosophy is kill or be killed."
"So for instance when someone bullies your brother, your response is to dump piranha in the pool"
"You know the old saying, never bring a knife to a sword fight, unless it's concealed"
"The point is, that you assaulted a boy, and showed no remorse for your actions. That's why you're here-"
"He lost a testicle" i cut her off  " i did the world a favor. People like Dalton shouldn't be allowed to procreate. I have answered all your questions" i stand up
"We are not done yet" she smiles as i sigh
Skip the boring stuff of the session😐~~
"I don't travel well. Would you mind if i use the powder room first? "
I get up and go inside
I look around, accidentally dropping something
I can hear Dr's voice from outside asking if everything is ok
" Am alright, just preparing myself for out uncomfortable journey "
I tap my bag for Thing to give me the tools i need
"Nail file" i whisper
I open the window and walk outside on the roof, as i climb the pole down to touch the ground i carefully walk behind principal Weems' car unnoticed.
In the process i accidentally bump into a man getting a vision.
"Who let you out? You goddamn weirdo!" The farmer insults
I leave going inside the coffee shop near the corner
"Holy Crap" the boy behind the counter yells "Do you make a habit of scaring the hell out of people?"
"It's more of a hobby"
"You..go to Nevermore, didn't realise they changed the uniform" he says hesitantly
"I need a quad over ice. It's an emergency.  It's for shots of espresso."
"Yeah,I..I know what a quad is, but spoiler alert, the espresso machine's having a seizure, so all we have is drip"
"But drip is for people who hate themselves and know their lives have no real purpose or meaning"
"See, told you Tyler!" A girl from a table on the corner eating a donat shouts
I turn to look at her, then i look at the boy whose name is Tyler making a face at her and ask
"What's wrong with your machine?"
"It's a temperamental beast with a mind of its own, and it doesn't help that the instructions are in Italian" he explains
"I need a tri-wing screwdriver and a four-millimeter Allen wrench"
"Wait, you read Italian?" He asks
"Of course. It's the native tongue if Machiavelli. Here is the deal, I'm going to fix your coffee machine, then you're going ti make my coffee and call a taxi"
"Uh, no taxis in Jericho. Try Uber?"
"I don't have a phone. I refuse to be a slave to technology"
"Then you are out of luck"
First part 😃 ik Nothing happened yet but i needed to get the timeline clear for everyone and not make it too long sooo
