" then you're out of luck, where sre you going anyway?"

"That's on a need-to-know basis, What about trains?"

"Nearest station is Burlington. It's half an hour away"

Wednesday fixed the coffee machine after a minute or two ~~

"I didn't catch your name or is that on a need-to-know basis too?"he mocked Wednesday's previous sentence

"Wednesday"

"I tell you what Wednesday, to show my appreciation how about i drive you to Burlington?"

"Perfect. Put that quad in a to-go cup."

"Uh but i don't get off for another hour"

"I'll sweeten the pot" Wednesday says holding out twenty dollars

"Twenty whole dollars.. tempting but no" Tyler sarcasms

"I'll make it forty"

"Uh, Listen Wednesday, one fun fact about me : I can't be bought, so either wait, or find someone else to drive you"

Wednesday exhales softly and goes to find a table, only for her to see that the only empty is the one with me sitting on the edge

She sits down saying nothing

"Lilith" i say taking a bite from my donat
I don't expect her to answer since i saw how little she said to Ty

"I can take you to the train station if you want" i say

Her eyes light up

"Great, Let's go"

she doesn't have many emotion in her voice but i can hear her relief

Just then three guys i know too well walked in

"What are you doing Lils with a Nevermore freak? "
"This is our booth" they say with too much pride

"Why are you three dresses like religious fanatics? " Wednesday bites back
I fail to hold back a laugh causing them to get even more angry than before

" We're pilgrims , we work at Pilgrim World "

"It takes a special kind of stupid to devote an entire theme park to zealots responsible for mass genocide "

"My dad owns Pilgrim World, who you calling stupid"

"Your dad, obviously" i say debating if i should add a duh at the end

"Guys, back off" Tyler says even though no-one asked him to

"Stay out of this, Ty"

"Yes, stay out of this, Galpin"

"So tell me, freak, you ever been with a normie?"

"Never found one enough ti handle me"

"I volunteer as a tribute" i say from behind earning a smack in the head by Tyler

"Boo!"

Then in a blink of my eye Wednesday had taken out every single one of them

"That was so cool" i say still in shocked

"My uncle taught me"

"Can he teach me too?" I ask but i don't get an answer due to the fact that Tyler's dad burst in
