chapter 1

Hazelkit had opened her eyes and looked up at her mother mistyScar as she gazed over her beautiful daughters in awe she had simply adored them both and she would die for them as hazelkit got up and walked around her sister crescent kit had gotten up and followed her as they ran around the forest they had came back to the abandoned badger den to find out it was no longer abandoned.

HAZELKITS POV:

I stared down at my mother's dead mangled body as her caring and kind essence was no longer I ran up to her and cried my eyes out "mother p-please..don't leave us im frightened to be alone" I stared at my sister crescentkit as she had her face near our mother's and I padded over to her "..w-we b-b-better leave before they come back!!" She shouted as she saw the badger and grabbed her sister and threw her out of the den away from the badger. I ran alongside her screaming at her to run faster as we ran into a herd of cats they had grabbed us and outrun the badger I looked up at who was holding me a kit that looked a lot older I was only 4 moons and they looked about 6 or 7! He stared down at me smiling on the inside but then his expression changed to a stern and serious look as she got dropped to the floor she looked up at him and snapped "You dropped me and I hurt my paw you actual mousebrain!" I got up and shaked my fur and looked at crescentkit who was shaking and she walked over and standed close making their pelts brushing against eachother as they stood together worrying about what was to come for the two sisters.I saw a muscular tall tom walk out from a high rock with another cat next to him.

I looked up confused about what he was doing when he said "All cats old enough to go into battle gather around the High rock for a clan meeting" I got nudged over by the herd of what seemed to be millions of cats I saw the leader look down at me and my sister as we looked at eachother confused on what to say as we had never been into a clan meeting is that what it was called before I had then just heard the tom talk again and stared up at him in confusion and he looked at me then the rest of the other cats "Our patrol has found two kits this evening running from a badger we will need a queen to nurse these two until they are old enough to be apprentices for now VixenLeap you will be their mother to nurse them back to health clan dismissed" I looked around and saw an apprentice follow a cat and I ran over to talk to him as I was confused on who vixenleap was and when I saw him you could swear I had just saw a ghost my heart started pounding the handsome calico tom turned around to face me and bended down "do you want anything little kit?" He asked his voice was as soft as a doves wing I squealed in annoyance though as he had called me a little kit he's surely only about three or two moons older than me how dare he "How dare you I am not a little kit I am nearly as big as you I am not small" I growled as my face scrunched up "and also who is vixenleap I don't know anyone in this place so when that tom said vixenleap I didn't have any clue what he meant!!" His eyes widened in realisation and he sighed his leader was quite aloof sometimes and forget that he was meant to show her who vixenleap was "alright follow me ill take you to the nursery ill explain to you aswell how it works  up on the rock was stalkFlight and SnowStar now the religion we believe in is starclan and everytime a cat dies a new star appears in silverpelt the apprentices den is where you will be in two moons since I heard you we're four moons the warriors den is where you sleep after you've done an assessment to be a warrior of mothclan my name is mistlepaw and yours is hazelkit if I'm guessing by your pelt colour" he chuckled to himself which I thought was quite hilarious and silly at the same time on how he could laugh at his own guess or joke so confidently I could never laugh at my own joke I would be too embarrassed incase no one understood I had just started laughing with him and by the time we stopped I arrived at the nursery he padded up to a she-cat "this is the queen who will be taking care of you vixenleap this is hazelkit I see you have her sister already" vixenleap seemed to have a liking to him as she shifted every second and I felt jealousy erupting in me I don't know why but I felt like I should be the one laughing with him touching noses with him. having his kits. Wait what am I thinking im just a kit I can't even do two of those yet I'm so stupid I better get some sleep I am so tired after everything that has been happening today I fell onto mistlepaw and my cheeks burnt in embarrasement my eyes fluttered I got up and he got up and leaned me against him "you seem tired hazelkit you surely have had a long day after running from that badger go get some shut eye if you need anything I am in the medicine den vixenleap" he smiled at me and then left.I had butterflies in my stomach as he left I saw My new Foster mother making me room next to her chestnut and I walked over cuddling into her and crescentkit as she wrapped her tail around us both I slowly fell asleep as nightfall hit

I am so excited for my story to continue I love it so far I am not sure if my writing has improved but I do hope it has anyway I have to go feed my kittens and do homework I hate school so much smh anyways bye I hope you had a blast reading this chapter till the next time we see eachother goodbye for now my people.
