"You are my lil' secret!"

CHAPTER 3

** Silver's pov**

I picked out my favorite shaded blue jean and a one direction tank top.(a/n i am truly,madly,deeply in love with them).

"This will do,right ?" I asked Naomi, who was standing by my bedroom door scanning me from head to toe. Why is she checking me out like she does those guys riding Vespas around the city,I wondered.

"Naomi,are you alright ?" I asked waving my hands in front of her face,trying to get her attention.

"Silver,are you going in this attire to meet your future employer ? Your outfit is prim but what about your face ? Why does your face look so blunt ? Can't you put on some make up ?" she said pointing to my face.

I shrugged and said  ,"Well,I rarely put on any make up."

"Well it won't work that way anymore', because I won't allow you to step out of the house with such a blunt and drained face, you've gotta put on some make-up" she said smirking.

I wondered what's with her make-up ? She must have tried every damn product possible and available.She doesn't need to apply any make up,she is beautiful the way she is. I just don't understand why can't she get this simple thing.

"OK, fine, I will fix my hair and face,alright?"

"That's my girl!" saying thus she went back to the living area.I was left with a 'what-was-that-'  expression on my face.

 I was about to get the mascara and foundation out of my closet when my phone buzzed in my back pocket .I took it out and saw Mrs.Gates number on the phone screen.Without wasting a second I swiped the screen to answer her call.

"Hello,good morning Mrs.gates" I said and waited for her to reply.

"Good morning Silver,have you started yet or are you still at your place ?" she asked very politely.

"I will be starting in 10 minutes." My voice started to stutter as I said that. I glanced at the clock beside my bed . I had a sigh of relief to see that it was only 9:25.I was on time, as usual.

"Silver,relax."I just called up to check on you as you're totally unfamiliar with this city." I guessed that she sensed a panic in my voice. "So, I thought, it would be better to come and pick you up instead.I will be there in and about 10 minutes,are you fine with that ?" she asked me

"Mrs.Gates I appreciate your concern but there is no need for you to come all the way here.One of my roommate is well acquainted with the city so I won't be having a problem getting there".

"Are you sure about that sweetie ?"

"Yes,I am pretty sure."

"Okay then,if you need any help with the directions just give me a call !"

"I will surely call you.See you soon Mrs.Gates."

"See you soon Silver"

With that I hung up the phone.I felt quite happy thinking how generous and a sweet woman she was.

As soon as the conversation was over,I went on to put some make up,fixing my skin tone  around my eyes and applying my favorite strawberry flavored lip gloss on my lips.I decided to let my hair loose.Then with one last look in the mirror,I grabbed my side satchel and headed out of my room.

"Finally,you are out of your room princess."Naomi remarked as I stepped out of my room,fluttering her beautiful eyes.

I ignored her reaction and walked into the kitchen to get some milk and cereal.I took the milk and cereal into a large pink colored bowl and started hogging.I am much of an eater myself especially when it comes to milk.
