During the day, the group was unable to concentrate on their studies after what happened in the morning with Hongjoong and Yunho. They sat down on the benches in the schoolyard. They did not feel comfortable that a multitude of students and teachers were staring at them with curious eyes and trying to know more details about what was happening. After all, some of them were always looked at with a crooked eye, because of the way they treated school and studies and suddenly out of nowhere they were the focus of interest. Yeosang was the quietest during the lunch break. He was still digesting what Hongjoong had done for him. Hongjoong took the injury that was supposed to hit him. When Hongjoong stood in front of him and looked frightened, Yeosang could not understand why. He thought that something serious had happened that Hongjoong could not keep to himself and he had to share with Yeosang, but he finally found out that Hongjoong looked at him in horror because he knew something was about to happen. But how did he know? After all, Yeosang did not see Yunho at the time when Hongjoong came towards him or anyone else, it happened a few moments later. So what would have been the reason he came to him if it wasn't because of that?
"It's just annoying that every corner someone is looking at you" San murmured as Yeosang opened his lunch box and milled rice into his mouth. Mingi chuckled with his tongue.
"Just ignore," he said. Mingi didn't say too much after Wooyoung updated him on what happened. He nodded and kept his cool while the rest worried about their friends who were currently in the clinic.
"It's not easy," Wooyoung said with a mouth full of food. Seonghwa looked at him in disgust as he turned the noodles on his chopsticks.
"Don't speak while eating. Where are your manners?," said Seonghwa, putting the noodles in his mouth. Wooyoung rolled his eyes and drank from the bottle of water he had brought with him. Jongho let out a sigh from his mouth.
"And my day started good today...." he murmured and took a piece of the fruit he had brought with him. San looked at him with a question.
"What does it mean?" San was interested. The rest of the gang also looked towards Jongho, expecting him to tell what had happened.
"I...t's doesn't really matter," Jongho said directly and Mingi stared at him for a long time.
"It wouldn't hurt to have something that could make the atmosphere lighter. Feels like the atmosphere of someone who's about to die-" Mingi began to say but Wooyoung interrupted by pushing his elbow against his ribs. Mingi frowned and moved away from Wooyoung slightly.
"Well..." Jongho started saying and they looked at him.
"Today, in the morning practice, I scored from the middle of the field and-" Wooyoung burst out in the middle of Jongho's words.
"Good job!" he began to say and applauded. Seonghwa hit him in the back of the neck and it made him frown.
"Hey! I'm happy for him!" Wooyoung raised his voice and they both stared at each other.
"He hasn't finished his words yet" Seonghwa got angry and went back to looking at Jongho, who smiled in embarrassment.
"Talking to me about manners-" Wooyoung murmured and Seonghwa stared at him for a long time. Jongho cleared his throat and continued his words before the two started harassing each other.
"The other thing is that coach Lee didn't make any offensive comments to me. He told me that I did a good job and he patted me on the shoulder." Jongho told with pride and a smile resting on his face. Yeosang and San looked at him smiling as Seonghwa pulled his hair back.
"It's all thanks to me and my advice" he credited with what happened.
"All you did was make him more nervous" Wooyoung spoke with mouth full on his food. Seonghwa raised his hand towards Wooyong and there was a crazy look in his eyes.
