In 1899, the age of outlaws and gunslingers was at an end.

America was becoming a land of laws...

Even the west had mostly been tamed.

A few gangs still roamed but they were being hunted down and destroyed.

No one was prepared for our legacy's consequences....

A caravan drives through a snowy mountain. A harsh storm blows through, making it hard to see two feet ahead. An older man trudges through the snow next to the leading wagon. "Elisa days he's dying Dutch. We'll have to stop some place," He tells the driver. "Okay. Arthur and Isaac are out looking. I sent them up ahead," Dutch tells the man. He nods before going back into the wagon. "There! Arthur. Isaac. Any luck?" "Found an abandoned mining camp down the road," Isaac tells him. "Okay. Lead the way,"

The two men lead the caravan into the mining camp. A couple of men bring in a body on a stretcher. "Set him here," An older man instructs. They set him down as a dark brunette enters the cabin. She checks his pulse. "He's gone," She announces. "What are we gunna do we need supplies," The older man tells the dark haired man. "Well, first of all, you're gunna stay here and you are gunna get yourself warm. Now, I sent John, Micah, and Sanity scouting out ahead. Arthur and I, are gunna ride out and see if we can find one of them," Dutch tells the older man and Arthur. "In this?" Arthur asks. Dutch looks around. "Just for a short bit. I don't see what other choice we have," Dutch turns towards the rest of the gang. "Listen," He speaks up. "Listen to me, all of you, for a moment. Now, we've had...well, a bad couple of days. I loved Davey," He gestures to the lifeless body in the back. "Jenny. Sean, Mac.. they may be okay. We don't know. But we lost some folks. Now, If I could throw myself in the ground in their stead.. I'd do it. Gladly. But... we are gunna ride out and we're gunna find some food. Everybody we're safe now. There ain't nobody following us through a storm like this one.. And by the time they get here.. We'll be long gone. We've been through worse than this before. Mr. Pearson," Dutch calls out to the shivering man. He looks at Dutch. "Miss Grimshaw," He looks at an older brunette woman. "And Miss Aesira.. I need you to turn this place into a camp. We may be here for a few days. Now all of you, all of you, get yourselves warm. Stay strong. Stay with me. We ain't done yet. Come on, Arthur," He walks out into the storm with Arthur. Miss Grimshaw looks at Elisa. "Okay, let's get settled. "Miss Jackson, Miss Jones, find any blankets you can," Miss Grimshaw starts instructing everyone.

an hour later, Dutch and Arthur comes back with an older blonde man and a woman. "We found some supplies. And you'll never believe who we found," Dutch looks at Hosea. "O'Driscoll scum and this poor soul, Mrs. Adler," Arthur helps the woman down. "They turned her into a goddamn widow," "Miss Jackson, Miss Jones, get Mrs. Adler inside and warm," Elisa instructs the two women. They nod. "It's going to be alright, Mrs. Adler," Dutch calls to her. Elisa turns to the blonde man. "Where is he?" She asks. The blonde man stared at her blankly. "Who?" He questions. "You know who," She states stoically. He scoffs. "Whatever. Miss Grimshaw, where is my room?" He questions. "With Bill and the others. Mr. Morgan, Miss Aesira will lead you to your room," Elisa and Arthur begin walking. "Why does he get his own room while I gotta share with Bill Williamson and a bunch of darkies!?" Everyone ignores his complaining.

"I'm starting to get worried Arthur," She tells him. "He's fine. He always is," Arthur tells her. Elisa sighs as they reach his room. "I have this bad feeling, Arthur. I... don't think he's fine," Arthur stares at her for a moment. "There's nothing we can do right now. We're going to have to wait until we get off this mountain," He tells her. Elisa nods. "Get some rest," Elisa tells him before walking out of his room.
