Chapter 3

It's been a month since you started seeing Hange. You want to do something to commemorate the day. Nothing can compare to the beautiful dinner they took you on two weeks ago but you wanted to try anyway.

It's a rare occasion where both you and Hange have a day off. Well it's not all that rare but it's rare that Hange is actually taking a break from work. It makes you feel really special. You told Hange to be ready by 9 and they asked if they could still have the honour of picking you up. You smile and nod. Of course you'll let the alpha escort you to your first stop of the day.

So there they stand in your doorway with a bouquet of flowers. They're a bit bashful as they offer the flowers to you.

"Hange! Thank you! I'm supposed to be treating you today."

"Nonsense. I can never resist an opportunity to dote on my partner."

You smile softly.

"Well thank you."

You turn, opening the door more as to let Hange know they are welcome inside.

"Let me get these in a vase"

You search your kitchen for a vase while Hange tells you about the time you've been apart.

"Ah hah!"

You finally find a vase suited of the flowers you've received. You trim the flowers and set them in the vase.

"Beautiful."

Hange gently grabs your chin. Turning your head towards them.

"Yea, absolutely gorgeous."

You're cheeks heat up.

"Hange!"

They laugh.

"What it's true! You're stunning!"

"Thank you, but have you seen yourself? You're so handsome!"

They capture your lips in theirs. The kiss is full of love and desire but is still soft and gentle. You try to put your emotions into the kiss as well. They pull away, a huge smile on both of your faces, they link their hands in yours and gently pull you towards the door.

"Wait let me get my keys!"

You can't keep the giggles out of your voice. You run and get your keys. Quickly returning your hand to theirs.

"Okay let's go!"

They once again open the car door for you, and again you are deeply flattered.

"So where are we off to?"

"The breakfast place on third street, you know Rosie's?"

Hange nods.

"Yes I'm familiar."

They give your hand a squeeze before shifting into drive.

You were unsuccessful in your attempt to pay for breakfast. You didn't realize when Hange had went to the washroom they really had went to the waiter and paid for your meals. Hange is smug when you realize they already paid.

"Come on Hange, today is supposed to be me treating you!"

You fake hit them repeatedly, gentle slaps on the arm.

"Okay okay! I'll stop!"

They laugh. You hit them again.

"I said I'll stop! I promise!"

Their laughter subsides.

"I'll let you treat me today. Okay?"

"Okay!"
