(Stephen's POV & A little introduction on him)

From the moment, I started to get my long time memory, I remembered no treated me well except my parents. But, they were so busy in our family business that they hardly had enough time for me.

All of the people out there, envy my family and say how wonderful it was to be a billionaire and how amazing our life is. We can get whatever we want at anytime.

But none of them know or will ever understand, that the life of a billionaire is never easy. Specially the life of their kids. No one except the circle will know that, what the billionaires don't have is the time which is needed by all.

Every moment of a billionaire's time is like money and time is the judge for them. If they stop fighting for their rights for a while, they will lose the game! And no business tycoon will ever want that.

I often saw them either coming late and leaving early or not even coming back to home. And sometimes, when they had time they would come to have a conversational with me, but I could feel their stiffness throughout our talk.

And moreover, I didn't want to disturb them after seeing how tired they were. So, my ten years of life spent happily playing with or sadly complaining to my nanny, Miss Elizabeth. She was both like a mother and father figure to me.

I hardly had any friends in my life as I was often teased and bullied by my peers. The main cause was that they had never seen my parents ever (EVER) to drop by in my school, so it was naturally taken by them that I was an unwanted child.

And worst was that since, all of us were in the same rich circle. So, I couldn't fight back, less I offended someone I shouldn't have and it may backfire to my parent's hard work.

Well, to be more clearly, it really wasn't like I had no friends. I had one. She was the only light of my life for whom I wanted to go to school.

Even though our meeting wasn't that good, but from then onwards, I followed her everywhere like a shadow maintaining a two to three meters of distance.

That time, I was hit by some of the kids as they had wanted to take the only toy my parents had given me in my eleven years of life and I didn't give it to them. That day, I had thought that I might have to stop coming to school for at least a week and may be my parents would be there for me at home, taking care of me.

So, I started to shield my head in between my hands as I was all ready to take whatever doom was coming to me. But surprisingly, after a few hits, I felt nothing, instead I heard a soft and alluring voice.

"Stop hitting him! Or I'll call the Principal!" And saying that she even started to shout out loud, "Sir, Sir, please come here. Some of the boys here are bullying me!"

I put my hands down from my face, as I saw a blurry thin figure of the back of a girl dressed in pink uniform. She was standing in front of me with her arms spread wide apart to her either sides. And I had felt a sudden warmth and love from that gesture before my eyes completely turned black.

Later, I didn't know how I reached the school infirmary and lying on the bed. But after asking the attendant of the place, Miss Rose, I got to know that I was brought there by a young girl with my P.T. teacher who was nearby.

That time, I had immediately recalled how that little girl who was shorter than my height had protected me and she was really cute with her soft voice which she tried her best to sound matured enough.

Later, I tried to find out about that girl's whereabouts as no one in the school had ever tried to stand up for me and it was absolutely new for me. A part of me was sure that either she was from another school or a new student in our school.

It took me two days of time to find more about her and as expected, she was the new student. Her name was Elina. Elina Lewis. She would be staying in our school for a year as her parent's job are unstable and needed to leave from a place to another from time to time.

Well, at first, I had thought I wouldn't mind but later I realized I minded it a lot. As the days went by, I continued to follow her from the moment she entered the school to the end when a car would stop by and she would leave.

The amazing and interesting part of her was that she only used to talk with the girls and not with the boys. Whenever, any boy tried to strike a conversation with her, she would ignore them. But, if the boy pestered her, she... (sigh) ..  She would turn into a road side rowdy and beat the sh*t out of the boy.

And that was the MAIN REASON I never had the guts to either thank her for saving me the other day or to strike a conversation with her.

No matter how pretty the rose is, it's still filled with thorns. And seriously, I won't ever prick my hands with the thorns to get the rose. Like a good kid, I would wait and watch for others to get pricked with the thorns, until there are no thorns.

But, I guess my fate was also against me at that time, as the year ended so fast and she finally left the school. Even though I knew sje would be leaving after a year, it still hurt a lot when she left.

Yet one thing, before leaving, she didn't even know that she had unknowingly made me stronger than before. To cope up with her, I had started to study diligently and started to top in my class. Since, we were in three years of distance, I bet she never knew about it. Or perhaps.... She never cared about the boy whom she had saved once.

And I started to grow aloof and what other say... yeah scary. Well, why won't I? I hated it the most when someone interrupted my lone time with her. So, sometimes, if it was excessive I would even hit a few to keep their blo*dy mouth shut and hands to stay in place.

My life went on and soon I stepped in my seventeen. From that day onwards, my birthday became a business gathering for my parents. Even though, I could now see them often but I didn't feel that longing anymore.

But everything shattered when Miss Elizabeth was caught up in a car accident and lost her life before I could rush in the hospital. And when I reached the hospital, all I heard is that she was no more.

That time, I had felt so devastated and almost lost my life, when I suddenly caught a silhouette of a girl whom I had never thought I would see again.

Even though it had been years since I last saw her, but just with a single glance I was sure that it was her... Elina Lewis.

'But why she's in the hospital, running like that? Did something happen to her too?'

And later, I found out that the reason she was there because her parents also passed away because of the same car accident that happened in the Johnson road for which my nanny died.

I saw her devastated self as she stood there for sometime and then turned around without seeing her parents. She slowly walked out of the hospital and got in the driving seat of a black car.

I had wanted to take her with me at that moment, fearing that something might happen to her on the road. But then again, she might have taken me as a perv*rt since she didn't know me, so I followed her car with my own.
