"I'm done! You never let me see my son, you're always hurting me, and I'm tired of it! I'm leaving!" Wilbur shouted at Sally with tears running down his face.

Wilbur walked away to his shared bedroom, gathering his belongings and packing them away. He took his guitar and placed it gently in its case before walking back out, not saying a word to Sally.

Wilbur went up to his son, kissing the baby fox on the forehead lightly. "I'll be back one day my son..." he smiled through his tears before standing up and walking out.

He took his things with him to a bench in a nearby park. He sat down and allowed himself to cry.

-10 minutes later-

Quackity walked through the park with a bored expression on his face, the light breeze blowing his raven coloured hair out of his face.

That's when he noticed Wilbur sitting on the park bench alone. He decided to sit next to the taller, quickly noticing the boy's emotions and gaining worry for him. "Wilbur? Hey what's wrong..?!" Quackity asked, a tone of worry and slight panic in his voice.

"I left Sally... I finally did it." Wilbur said, his voice breaking as he spoke. Quackity gave Wilbur a look of sympathy and hugged him. Wilbur accepted the hug, sobbing quietly into the duck's shoulder.

"I'm proud of you, Wilbur. Sally wasn't a good person. You deserve so much better." Quackity rubbed Wilbur's back gently, trying to calm him.

Wilbur lifted his head, looking Quackity in the eyes and resisting the urge to kiss him right then and there.

Wilbur had loved Quackity for months, but due to the fact he was stuck with Sally, he couldn't make any moves whatsoever.

He buried his face into the duck's chest, breathing slowly and calming down. "Is that better now?" Quackity asked, sensing the sudden calm Wilbur had felt.

"A lot better, thank you Quackity." Wilbur said, the volume of his voice just above a whisper.
Quackity smiled at the brunette. "You're going to live with me since you have nowhere else to go." He explained, being sure to keep a kind an comforting tone.

"Are you sure? It wont be a problem or an-" Wilbur started, but Quackity interrupted. "Don't even start with that. It wont be a problem and you can stay as long as you need."

Wilbur smiled. "Thank you..." Quackity smiled back, running his fingers through the taller's hair. "Of course Wil."

With that, they both stood up. Quackity held Wilbur's hand and led him down the path to his house. Most of the walk was silent, with the occasional sniffle or cough from Wilbur.

Quackity walked up the stairs of his front porch, unlocking the door and bringing Wilbur inside.

"Do you maybe want to.. uhm.. cuddle?" Quackity asked, nervousness present in his voice. Wilbur smiled. "Of course I do."  He replied. Quackity then brought Wilbur into his room.

"Get changed into something comfortable, Wil." He said before grabbing a hoodie and pyjama pants and walking to the bathroom.

Wilbur opened his bag full of clothes, taking a pair of shorts and a hoodie out. He undressed and put the shorts on as Quackity walked out.

"You done Wilb-" Quackity looked at Wilbur, his face immediately going red as he looked away. "Wil im so sorry-!"

Wilbur blushed lightly and put his hoodie on. "you can look now" he chuckled and sat on the bed, waiting for Quackity. Quackity walked over to the bed and sat down.

"Hey Wilbur, I have a question." He asked. "What is it?" Wilbur replied, looking at him with curiosity.  "Music calms you right?" Quackity asked. "Mhm?" Wilbur continued to look at him. "Well, I know a song, it's a lullaby, and I wanted to sing it to you." Quackity said, looking away with slight embarrassment. Wilbur smiled. "I would love to hear it."

Quackity smiled and layed down, pulling Wilbur closer to him and laying Wilbur's head on his own chest. He ran his fingers through Wilbur's soft hair as he started humming.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..." Quackity started, keeping a warm, calming tone. Wilbur smiled as he listened, slowly getting more sleepy.

"You keep me happy.. when skies are grey..."

"You'll never know dear, how much I love you.."  Quackity looked down at Wilbur, noticing he was asleep. He smiled softly and got into a more comfortable position, continuing to cuddle Wilbur. He closed his eyes and mumbled the last line.

"Please don't take my sunshine away~"
