Penelope and Sean stepped into the diner and smiled at each other. They looked around for a second before he pointed to a booth in the corner and they headed there.

The place was mostly empty except two different groups of people happily chatting and enjoying their food and the employees behind the counter.

They both sat down on either sides of the booth as a waiter came up to them with a notepad. "Welcome to Waffle House. What can I get you to drink?"

"I'll have a coffee, a waffle with peanut butter with a side of hash browns, please." Penelope replied, handing the waiter her menu.

"I'll have the same. Thank you." Sean added, smiling.

The waiter wrote it down, took the menus, and walked off.

"You should text Amelia now." Sean said, playing with the sugar packets.

"Oh, yeah." She pulled out her phone and typed a message to Amelia.

"Amelia is coming!" Penelope blurted out, placing her phone on the table.

The waiter came and poured their coffee for them.

"Nice." Sean sipped his coffee while trying to stack up the sugar packets to make a castle.

Penelope fidgeted with her own cup. "So besides you and me, and Karl and Amelia, who all is coming?"

He concentrated on balancing the sugar packets. "Uh, Karl said Nick, and Chris' family I'm pretty sure."

"I don't know who those people are, Sean." She lightly laughed.

"Oh, I forget you live under a rock."

"I do not!" She glared at him and he ignored it, continuing.

"Nick is Karl's streamer friend. His online name is Sapnap, and Chris works with Mr. Beast."

Penelope nodded, feigning understanding. "And Mr. Beast is the guy who gives away money? The guy who gave you your house?"

"Exactly."

"So we're going to hang out with a bunch of rich people, is what you're saying."

Sean shook his head at her, causing his structure to crumble before their eyes. He groaned in defeat and flicked a packet away from him.

"They're just normal people, Pen. They aren't going to be counting their money or signing autographs while we're there."

"But they will be coming in their hot air balloon, right? Or else I don't want to go."
