Ashley had always loved killing. It was what she was good at. She loved the thrill of it and how she could pump her victim's adrenaline just enough to get them to fight back and then slay them anyway.

She could be like a normal person on the outside but on the inside she was all out insane. She was a psychopath and she knew it, and she liked it like that.

She had become an assassin to feed her love of killing. She had killed thousands of people and was one of the best at what she did. She could use any weapon with ease, though she preferred a katana.

That morning when she woke it felt like a normal day, but it was anything but. She got dressed and went downstairs. She checked her mail and found a letter sealed with the symbol of her assassins cult.

She unsealed it and read over the instructions. She was to go with her best friend Edgar and a person she had never met named Alexander. They were to go into the woods and defeat a bandit camp. It was a normal contract, she did things like this all the time. It was her way of relaxing and she liked it like that.

When she poured herself some coffee she heard a knock at the door. When she answered it was Edgar, he was excited that they got to work together. Edgar had shoulder length blonde hair, emo style cut. He also had one blue eye and one green, which made him stick out in a crowd.

When she asked, he didn't know who Alexander was either. She was starting to wonder why we had been assigned with him, but her cult knew that if he made one wrong move she would slay him, that was how she worked, and they were fine with it. They let her pick out the bad ones.

The instructions told her that her and Edgar were suppose to meet Alexander outside the forest in a very specific location and they were to bring camping supplies, though she never liked camping, Ashley would go anyway, she wouldn't let her cult down for anything.

When they made it to the location, all packed they saw no one was there. They waited for a very long time before they saw someone coming. "This better be him I'm tired of waiting!" Edgar said. "To be a good assassin, one must learn to have patients, Edgar." she said mimicking their cult leader. They shared a laugh and then the stranger walked up to them.

He had dark black hair, which was covering his ears. He also had bright blue eyes. "Are you Ashley and Edgar?" he said mysteriously. "Who wants to know?" she said with a mean gase. He grabbed her hand and kissed it, making her blush. "I am Alexander, but you can call me Alex." She smirked at how confident he was. "Pleased to meet you, Alex." "The pleasure is all mine in front of a beautiful girl like you."

"Ok, well whatever you seem to know more than us, so who are these bandits we are fighting?" Edgar said somewhat annoyed but Ashley had no idea why. "Well I know the path and that they are very skilled fighters, but what I've heard of you two, they should be no match for us." Alex said smirking.

"Well what have you heard?" Ashley said in amazement that someone with her nature had actually been complimented. "Well I've heard from my father that you guys are two of the best fighters in the country." Ashley blushed, flattered. "And who's your father exactly?" Edgar said sounding suspicious, and he had the right to be, this person they had just met was buttering up to them and he was still a complete stranger. "You should know him, since he is the man you just mocked." He was talking about their cult leader, who was very wise and skilled with all weapons, and would defend his title at all costs, even if it meant killing some of his best assassins.

Ashley had a terrified look on her face. "Don't worry, I won't tell, as long as you trust me, you see this is my first mission, but my father has taught me everything he knows about fighting, which is quite a lot." "Well how do we know you can be trusted?" Edgar said. "Well if you can't trust me then I guess we are at an impasse." "He's right, Edgar, we have to trust him." she said feeling disappointed that this boy had tricked them already. "It is wise to realize when you only have one option." he said smirking.
