"what now?" he sighed, putting his phone down.
"who the fuck do ya think ya are? texting zara about kayden? ya know better than that!"
"what the fuck mase?" declan said, looking at him disappointedly.
"i'm sorry mate, but she was tryna tell me how to live my life. it's not my fault that her ex was a psycho" he shrugged.
"so what? ya think texting her about him will make her feel better? make ya shitty situation better? maybe if ya didn't cheat on ya girlfriend, ya wouldn't need to bring him up" jack shouted.
mason had stood up by this point, squaring up to the brummie man. "fuck off alright! both of you!" he shouted, but not before jack could deliver a punch to his face.
declan sprung to life and held him back, shouting at mason to come back as he stormed out the villa.
"you didn't have to punch the guy" declan said, letting go.
"ya shoulda seen the messages dec, he was a dickhead" he ran his hand through his hair, "he knows the shit she's been through with kayden and he still brings him up."

"YA LOOK BEAUTIFUL babs" jack smiled, trailing his hands around zara's waist as she linked her arms around his neck.
"you look pretty good yourself" she smiled back, connecting their lips in a soft kiss. "where are we going for dinner?" zara asked after they'd pulled apart.
"a cute rooftop restaurant" he revealed, taking her hand. she was dressed in the same dress she wore for their first official date, paired with red heels.
once they arrived at the restaurant, they ordered drinks. "are ya okay after earlier? wiv mason and that?"
"yeah," she smiled unconvincingly, "i just wanna forget about it. kayden is long out of my life, very much in the past. and as for mason, i don't want to be his friend until he matures"
jack watched her every movement, full of admiration for her. she was so strong and mature. "do ya think he'll tell aaliyah?"
"no" she answered honestly, "he's a coward"
"ya got that right"
"i heard you punched him earlier" zara smirked.
"oh yeah, from who?"
"dec. he said you went over and defended me"
"course i did babs, he was a wanker to you, and aaliyah"
after their meal, they took a walk along the beach. they felt so natural together, so perfect.
