Operation Crumbling Downfall Part 1:

Lila once again does her typical lies. Fed up, Plagg sneaks out of Adrien's bag and talks to Tikki. They have to expose all of her lies. Suddenly, an akuma attacks the school, but Ladybug and Cat Noir take action and save their friends from an attack. Alya, accompanied by Nino, begins filming for her blog and Chloe tries to thank Ladybug for getting her out of that tight spot with Sabrina in tow. But in the middle of the shoot, a huge shock was caught on film. Ladybug was standing near a faulty wall in the position of the strategy for her lucky charm, and Lila, with her hatred towards the heroine, pushes it right on top of her which almost got her killed. Lila gloats about it and hopes this will please Hawk Moth. A distressed Cat Noir saw what happened and is left to fight the villain on his own. He manages to do exactly what Ladybug and had planned, but without her yoyo he had no choice but to cataclysm the akuma. Cat Noir pulls Ladybug out of the rubble and shouts desperately for his lady to wake up in all the names he has called her, from M'lady, to Bugaboo, to Ladybug. Alya, Nino, Chloe and Sabrina had watched every detail individually. Alya realizes Marinette was right all along. Being Ladybug's so called best friend and a descendant of Volpina, who was obviously not well known at all. Nino couldn't move and couldn't believe he let his little brother near her, and he almost felt like crying to see his best friend desperately shouting for his love to awaken. Chloe was riddled with anger wanting to just take the bee and use her Venom on Lila, while Sabrina tries to tell her to keep it down or else she'll expose her identity. Ladybug slowly gets up and Cat Noir hugs her tight, showing his fear of losing her. Ladybug understood how he felt, and he tells her what happened with the akuma because he had no choice. Ladybug uses her powers to put everything back to normal and the heroes call it a day.

At the end of the day, Alya, Nino and Chloe run into each other. They were all very quiet, until Nino asks if Chloe knows something. They all say at the same time what they witnessed. Alya shows Chloe the footage, which showed evidence Marinette was not the liar, and she once again gains the urge to strangle Lila. Witnessing her true colours, Alya felt so guilty she didn't believe her best friend and the savior of Paris. And she had to watch helplessly as she almost got badly hurt. Alya tells the others to keep this quiet. If this goes out, Lila might try to protect herself. They needed to find a way to expose her as punishment for what she has done to Marinette, Ladybug and all of them. What they need is evidence. They will meet with Marinette and Adrien in the library tomorrow. But first, there's something she has to do.

At Marinette's house, the Kwamis were checking on her, who were horrified of the event. She was ok. She was just a little bruised in the ribs. Nothing serious. Alya hastily goes to visit Marinette and tells her what happened wasn't an accident. So someone tried to hurt her. Once Alya tells her friend and the Kwamis the culprit and shows her the video, they all stood in shock. Marinette was so outraged, she wanted to break something. Lila tried to kill her without a care and distressed Cat Noir, even if she's aware her miraculous restores the damage to surroundings and people. She was aware she had a grudge against Ladybug, but getting rid of her like that is like a ticket to being executed. The Kwamis chatter amongst one another about Lila. Tikki couldn't believe this. None of the previous Ladybugs ever had to endure something like this. Now she wishes she could confront Lila herself. Alya apologizes for not believing Marinette, and the 2 girls throw their hands around each other as the Kwamis look on. Alya tells her to stay put and wait until tomorrow, because it will be the day Lila will get what's coming to her, which gets Marinette excited. Once getting home, Alya tells her sisters to keep away from Lila, removes everything involving Lila from her blog and keeps the footage just in case.

The next day, Marinette, Adrien, Alya, Nino and Chloe meet in the library. Alya shows she had been very busy last night and shows a lot of research about Lila's claims of all the places and people Lila had supposedly met and been to. She hit the jackpot. The evidence collected showed her mother had not left Paris for over 6 years, which means Lila's tales of traveling and meeting other celebrities were false. Adrien knew Lila was a liar but didn't speak up because he didn't want to cause another akuma attack, like Volpina or Chameleon. But he eventually figured out the lies were hurting people, especially Marinette. When Lila committed the horrible crime of framing her which could've caused her to be akuamtized and no one believed her, he really wanted to physically confront Lila. But he needed to suppress that because he didn't want to do something wrong. And he may as well become another one of Lila's victims. But that wasn't the whole story. Marinette reveals Lila had threatened her that one fateful day. Adrien hugs her, feeling bad he didn't do something when he had the chance. They weren't just plain old fibs, and he never knew Lila would do this to such a good person. Chloe makes a confession that she knew Marinette was innocent the day she was framed, and apologizes she didn't say anything just because they were enemies at the time. Her apology was accepted. But it gets worse.
