"FUCK!" I hear Sam yell as I fall through the roof. At the last possible second, I feel an arm grasp mine, halting my descent. "IS SHE OKAY?" Sam shouts once again, slightly muffled. Colby, whose arm is firmly gripping mine, shifts slightly.

"I'm okay! I'm not dead!" I reply, raising my voice so Sam can hear me. Behind me, I hear Corey shuffle to our original position on the roof, presumably to fill Jake in, as I can hear him screaming at us too. Colby shifts his weight onto his heels and moves his other arm onto mine, slowly inching back to pull me up. As I rise slowly, I can see Sam coming into view, helping Colby keep his balance as he pulls me up. When I am raised enough, I move one knee over the side and pull myself up, landing in a very ungraceful heap on the floor. Colby immediately pulls me to my feet and gently pushes me behind him, where Sam puts his arm around my shoulder.

"Jesus Christ Ives, only you," Sam says, shaking his head and chuckling. I simply shove him, none too gently, in response. He's right though, as I seem to have a knack for injuring myself on this trip. Sam just laughs again, and we watch as Corey jumps across the gap without an issue.

"And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how it's done," He says, miming himself taking a top hat off and bowing to us.

"Be careful, or I'll push you off," Colby threatens, jerking suddenly and scaring the shit out of Corey, as Sam and I sigh.

"Children! There's time for petty arguments after we get out of this terrifying and haunted place! How about we just make our way over to Jake before he manages to hurt himself." Sam says, once again being the voice of reason. I nod and begin to move, but Corey stops me.

"Woah, hold on. All jokes aside, Ivy, you tend to run into trouble, you are not going across first." He states, the others nodding in agreement.

"Oh, come on! It's not like I'm a magnet for injuries," I protest, then catch the looks of the others. "Okay, so maybe on this trip I have been, but I'm not cursed!" I shout, then cry out in pain as I get stung by a bee. "You know what? Nevermind. Lead the way." I quickly pull my driver's licence out of my phone case and flick the stinger out, careful not to squeeze it and allow the venom in. The others laugh and nod, and Corey walks across the thin stretch of the roof first, followed by me, then Sam, then Colby.

Thankfully, we have no further incidents on the roof and safely join up with Jake on the ledge.

"Rightio my kiddlywinks, where do we go from here?" Jake asks, and I look at him with one eyebrow raised. "Too weird right? Yeah, I felt that. I regret saying it. I'm suitably ashamed, I assure you." Jake continues, and I nod.

"Good. You should be ashamed." Sam says, and the rest of us mumble our agreement.

"Anyway. In response to the initial question, I was just going to climb through that window right there. I don't know about y'all though," I respond, pointing towards the little arched window on the wall of the ledge.

"Yeah, just um, very slight issue there Ives. So, if you care to take a look at that window again, you'll notice a factor that most windows have, which is, well, glass. Given the fact that you cannot phase through solid matter, how exactly do you plan to go through the window?" Corey asks, chuckling inwardly to himself.

"Well, let me dumb this down for you," I answer, reaching down and grabbing a brick, causing Jake, Sam and Colby to take a step back. I take a step towards Corey and raise my hand. "This? This is a brick. Glass is very fragile. Throw brick through glass, equals glass breaking. Which means we can go through. And, if you take this tone with me again, brick will break you." I finish, as the rest of the guys take yet another step back, and Corey swallows.

"Yes ma'am," He says, causing me to raise my eyebrow again. "Sorry mum." He adds, seeing my look, and I nod contentedly.

"Good. Now if I were you I'd get behind cover because as much as I may threaten you I don't want you to be cut up by little shards of glass." As I say that, all 4 boys move behind the stack of mattresses slightly behind me and to my right, while I move to a table standing on its short end. "Okay. 3... 2... 1... GO!" I say and through the brick at the window, immediately ducking behind the table. The sounds of glass shattering echo through the air, and the brick hits the floor with an audible thud. The guys cautiously peek around the mattresses, and I laugh as I see all of their heads in a line, looking to and fro like meerkats, or that one scooby-doo image.

"What are you laughing at?" Colby asks, wrapping his arms around me from behind.

"Oh, nothing. Come out guys, it's all clear!" I raise my voice for the last bit, calling to the others still hiding behind the mattresses. We all head over to the window, and, careful of the shards still sticking out from the frame, we climb into the building via the broken window. "All right, scooby gang," I say, once we're all standing in a little group. "2 fears down, 3 to go. All though, unfortunately, the remaining ones are... not great."

"'Kay mumsy, where do we go from here?" Jake asks, and Corey jumps at the end of the sentence.

"And why Scooby gang?"

"Well, as for the first question, I don't know, but another fear is going to happen and we'll end up somewhere completely different than now, so we may just have to wait for the next fear. As for the second question... well, don't even worry about it." I say, and Corey looks at me questioningly. He seems like he's about to ask another question when he hears a noise that stops him in his tracks.

"Corey? Corey help!" A voice echoes throughout the hallway.

"Cenzey?" Corey replies, voice breaking.

"HELP!"
