"Merry Christmas." Alhaitham whispered, handing Kaveh a present.

"Oh? This is new." Kaveh started, "you usually never give anyone presents." Alhaitham rolled his eyes at Kaveh's remarks. "I honestly thought you didn't celebrate. Don't roll your eyes back unless I'm-"

"Immediately shut the fuck up."

Kaveh and Alhaitham sat down on their couch, Kaveh unwrapping the present as Alhaitham read his book. Inside the gift was a card, some of Kaveh's favorite drinks, and painting that Alhaitham had made. (I have a hc that Alhaitham paints. Anyway,) Kaveh had looked quiet shocked, he didn't think that his roommate would make such a beautiful thing for him.

Before Kaveh took out the painting though, there was a ton tissue paper with the card on top. He opened it to see a long, long note. 'I ain't reading that shit right now-' Kaveh's thoughts were interrupted by Alhaitham, "read the damn note before I smack you." (I ALMOST WROTE SMASH HELEPRFJFJSJF) Kaveh stopped and went to reading.

'Listen, I know. This seems like quiet a different uh, thing, but thanks. Thank you for everything. Yes, we fight a lot, yes, you stare at my tits a lot,' (EHLPP) "Yeah... no." Kaveh started while throwing the note behind him. Alhaitham sighed and continued reading his book. Kaveh tore off the rest of the tissue paper and saw the painting. It was a scenery of a sunset with a forest and a moon. (I painted smth like this) There was also one more thing..

Kaveh took a second look at the painting, and at the very bottom, there was neat handwriting saying "I love you." With a heart next to it. Kaveh looked up at Alhaitham, then back down at the painting. Haitham was smirking. "I told you to read the letter."

Kaveh quickly got back up and looked around for the letter, finding it pretty easy to see the bright red letter on the floor. Kaveh started reading again, until he looked down and saw a huge "I love you <3" at the very bottom. "Alhaitham...?" Kaveh asked. "Is the a confession?" Haitham looked back and squinted his eyes.

"Are you stupid?"

"I mean— kinda."

"Okay, well.." Alhaitham started, purposefully making it seem like he was gonna say it wasn't. "It is a confession." Alhaitham smiled. Kaveh stood up and sat back on the couch, this time next to his soon-to-be boyfriend. "So..?" Alhaitham asked, Kaveh raising his eyebrow in response. "Do you like me back or not, dumbass."

"I mean, I can't say no. You're hot as fuck and I've liked you for—" Kaveh was cut off by Alhaithams lips meeting his. After Alhaitham let go, Kaveh spoke, "I think we're going a little fast, no?" Alhaitham shook his head.

"You've kissed me before while we were in the middle of an argument. Do you really think we're going 'too fast'?"
