Yoonji POV
The day of the date came around so fast and I felt like I wasn't prepared at all and I was beginning to panic. Not to mention I still didn't know what I was wearing and I had to leave in two hours!
I was currently in my room trying to do my makeup on FaceTime with Joy.
"Wait! You should jade roll before you put anything on!" She was talking to me while she is in the bathtub
"What does that even do?? It's all fake news" I joked applying moisturizer.
"It's supposed to reduce redness and puffiness! Know your facts home girl" she smiled bringing the camera so close to her face you could see inside her nose.
"So what I'm hearing is that I'm puffy and red! My god I'm a walking tomato" I panicked but all heard were some giggles "Stop!! I'm nervous it's my first date ever with anyone...I wanna look nice" I huffed
"Aww yoonie I was just joking! You're a cute tomato, just do your makeup how you usually do and I'll help with your outfit" she winked she had bubbles all over her face her red hair up in a bun.
"Alright,...Joy?" I murmured
"Mhm?" She hummed playing with the filters on FaceTime.
"What if he tries to kiss me? I'm not ready, I don't know how to kiss yet. I need to do some research" I whispered applying some primer.
She chuckled "Kissing is natural, I get if your nervous but just be careful with your tongue. Follow his lead but if you're nervous you can practice on your hand like I did when I was in middle school" she hummed
"On my hand? I don't see the science behind that" I asked she nodded.
"Yeah! Or I could help you that's what friends are for!" She winked
I shook my head "I'll pass on that but thank you honey pie" I chuckled
I talked on the phone Joy and Yeri would join the call later. I did my makeup the whole time and struggled with the sparkly eyeshadow that Joy and Yeri demanded I wore. Telling me it made my eyes pop and maybe they were right but everything was sparkly.
I was running out of time and I had to meet Hoseok in front of the carnival because he insisted he wanted to buy the tickets for us.
I picked an outfit after trying on so many that my room looked like a tornado went through here.
