Welcome to freshman year

It was winter of '77 when I was enjoying my first day in school. Everyone was annoyed to start school,but today everyone was going to go to the party tonight. Seniors were getting ready to welcome freshmen with ass spanking. Everyone was exited for the party.

-"You going to today's party at Pickford's?" Said Pink, my only reliable Senior friend.
-"Yeah man I guess I will, I don't have any other plans for today." I replied while we both walked on the halls to find our classes.
-" By the way, your bestest friend Mitch Kramer will be there, just a heads up." He said as I let out a surprised cough.

Mitch Kramer and I, well we have a complicated relationship. In 3rd grade, I told him I liked him, but he said he could never like someone like me, an absolute nerd. After that I decided to change and become confident and popular, instead of just being sad and crying all day. Since then, we've gone our separate ways, and barely talk to each other.

"Well, there's going to be many people at the party, so I don't think we will even see eachother." I replied, trying to act confident and unbothered, even though I was nervous.
Pink nodded and left to find his friends, when all of a sudden, I hear footsteps behind me. I turned to find the Mitch Kramer talking to his friends just besides me.

"Hey, you going to the party today?"

"Yeah, I guess I am."

"Good. By the way, Your girlfriend better be there. If she doesn't show up I guess I'll just assume that she's non existent."

Mitch walked the other way with a preoccupied face, and I could see his friends were giving each other dirty looks and imitating moans, as if today Mitch was gonna score with someone? I wonder who's his girlfriend, I've never seen him talk to a girl before... Not like I care though.

I decided to take care of that later, since I just wanted to go to the office to see where my dorm is and who I'm sharing it with, since last period was starting in half an hour.

I walked to the front desk and asked the receptionist to check which dorm I got assigned.

"Oh im sorry young one, I don't think you have a dorm assigned to you."

"But I signed up for one? Im so confuse-"

Before I could finish my sentence, I felt the presence of someone behind me. I turned around and there he was. Once again, I was found in the same room as Mitch Kramer.

-"Miss? Could you please give me my dorm key? I'm Mitch Kramer."

He said. The only thing I could do was just stare at him. Why is he everywhere today?

-"Mitch Kramer? Here it is. Since you are not sharing with anyone at the moment, I guess you could share with this young lady here."

After she said that, we just stared at each other.

"O-okay... thanks."
I said nervously.

"This is the last dorm, so please share. Here's both of your keys."

We just took the keys and went to our dorm in silence. I tried keeping the I dont care attitude, but it was hard. The only thing I could think about was that time when I confessed my feelings to him. It hurt remembering it.

We got to the dorm, and he opened the door for me.

I just walked to one of the beds and put my baggage with clothes in it, seeing what I could wear for tonight's party.

As I searched, Mitch finally said something.

-"You going to tonight's party?"

-"Yeah."

When I found a shirt I wanted to try on, I just took off my shirt and put the new one in my hand.

"What are you doing?!"

I heard him get flustered by just seeing my naked torso in front of him.

"What? Are you that horny?"

He chuckled nervously and I finally got to put on my shirt.

"Definitely not. See you at the party."

He said before leaving.

What was that? Why did I take off my shirt just like that?? I am so embarrassed. For some reason I could not stop thinking of his flustered face. I immediately had dirty thoughts, but tried letting them go.

After last period, some went to their dorms and some went to after classes.

I went to find Pink, but as I approached him, I saw him talking to Mitch. I got nervous and immediately hid.

-"So, you're saying that you share a dorm with Y/N, and she took of her shirt right in front of you?"

-"Yeah."

-"Dude, everyone will come for you if you start dating Y/N. Half the people at school have a crush on her."

I could not stop listening. I was curious of what Mitch thought of me. I went running to my dorm to get ready for the party. I needed to look perfect.

I found a new dress and put it on.

As I was putting on my bracelets, I heard the door open.

-"Y/N, I'm going in."

-"Sure."

I saw Mitch smile and when he looked at me.

-"So, me and the guys will go to the party together, You wanna come along?"

Mitch said standing in front of me, taking a closer look of my face.

-"Alright, I guess I could join you."
