Zorya's pov:

Sittting and being alone in my room has been my comfort during the weekends. Usually I'm up working all night and only get two hours of sleep. Today was one day where I could relax and stay in bed the whole day. That was the plan but it got interrupted by my sister's loud and annoying screaming. So early in the day and there she is screaming. I take out my phone to check the time. Hmm it's already 1pm so it's still too early in the afternoon. I woke up from bed and did my usual morning routine. I brush my hair as I take off my sleep wear to put on a lovely yellow dress I "borrowed" from my mom. Then I did my hair in messy ponytail because I'm too lazy.

I head downstairs into the kitchen as I see my mom looking so relieved to see me. "I'd say Good morning but it's already afternoon." My mom, Nia says. "Hey mom. Whats for lunch?"
"Well I made you some pancakes since you missed breakfast." My mom says with a small smile.
"But dad what about Zorya. She's the old one and she does all the dirty work and she's the one who's most evolved with this Mafia!" My sister Zaria screams. Well my name is Zorya Blythe Fields and welcome to my crazy life. My sister over there, her name is Zaria Bella Fields and she's my identical twin sister. We look exactly the same.
"What did I do now?" I ask so annoyed because I couldn't get enough sleep.
"Good.." my dad says before looking at hi watch. "Good afternoon my honey. You know that I only do things because i love you and I want you to be happy." It's weird when my dad talks like that. "What's wrong now?" I ask as I continue eating my pancakes.
"Well you know the annual Mafia ball is in two weeks and I need you to make a decision, is it Spanish or American Mafia?" He asks looking worried. He wants me to led his Mafia because I'm his daughter and it would make him proud. "Sorry papà. But Spanish will do. I grew up there and I was raised in that Mafia dad. Don't be angry, you have Zaria." I say with a small evil smile. "Oh hell no. I'm not doing any of this Mafia shit. Look Dad, Mom you two can just have kids and that child can be the next leader when he or she is ready." Zaria says, trolls her eyes and walks away.
"No honey, your momma is way to old for kids now." My mom says as she laughs with a big smile.
"but Zorya my dear. You know I love you right. And never forget that." Dad says and walks away. Well that was one weird way to start my day. After eating I washed my plate and went to my room to finish off my favourite series.

After three hours of watching Blood and Water. I heard my mom calling for my mom. As I head down the stairs I see my mom looking like she will kill my dad any second. "You cannot force my daughter to get Married!!! She needs to find love then she will choose for herself!!!" My mom yells and I'm pretty sure the whole neighborhood can hear her. "But Nia. She's young and I don't wanna any young heir talking to my daughter please it's for her own safety." My dad replies. I'm getting forced to marry someone I never meet. I guess I'm just gonna say yes because I want my dad to be happy and the extra protection would be nice. "I accept." I say as I walk into the kitchen looking at my mom giving me a worried look. "I promise to call every night before bed and before heading to work. But anyhow who's the guy and what am I protected from?" I ask looking at my dad and mom. "He's name is Mike, Mike Romano, he lives in Italy and he's the Mafia boss. Thank you for saying yes honey, now for your own safety I will not mention who is out to kill you just yet. But tomorrow you will be leaving for Italy." My dad says and smiles, he quickly says 'I love you' and leaves.
"Are you sure honey? You can say no and we'll be on a plane and fly you over to Mexico right now." My mom asks with tears in her eyes. I know it's hard seeing your daughter leaving to be thousands of kilometers away but if it's the right thing to do then you just have to do it. "Yes mama. I'm sure." I say with a small smile. Honestly I was not sure at all. I didn't wanna marry a guy whom I don't know and I will only met tomorrow. But as my father always told me: "Never say no to me, I'm your father and I know what's best for you." Yeah sure dad. I just hope this Mike guy is not an asshole or I might actually take a plan and fly over to Mexico myself.
