Monday went by fast with Mika and Akashi trying to convey to the students that they were not going out. "It isn't like that," they would say, "You're wrong, we're just friends." They even asked help from the Generation of Miracles and the Shelter members to tell the students and the school staff the truth about their real relationship. But, the school never ceased treating Mika like she was Akashi Seijuro's girl. Mika shook her head and told herself that they would soon stop. They should. Because the more they treated her as such, the more she felt like it was real.
On Tuesday afternoon, right after the classes ended and before exiting the classroom, Akashi stole a glance at Mika as a silent reminder of her promise. The girl responded with a smile. She was really excited to see Akashi play and she wanted to do her best to cheer on him.
She gathered her things and prepared to go to the basketball court. However, Jun grabbed her arm as soon as he saw her in the hallway. He was panicking and crying. "Risa-san! Haruto! H-haruto!"
Although worried, Mika tried to calm him as she put her hands on the boy's shoulders. "What are you saying, Jun? Has anything happened to Haruto?"
The other pupils were strolling along the corridor, not minding them.
Jun didn't even bother to sniff his snot and almost shouted, "He's at the building's rooftop! He wants to die! He wants to jump and die, Risa-san!"
What?
No!
Oh no!
Heart pounding, Mika ran as fast as she could, climbing the stairs two at a time. She needed to see Haruto and talk to him. Convince him not to take his own precious life.
She opened the door to the rooftop.
Haruto, please don't.

Seijuro looked at the benches on top of the basketball court. He even searched the crowd gathered at the side of the court and at the entrances. Risa Mikaela wasn't there.
The Generation of Miracles and a few first-stringers made a circle to listen to the advice of their coach.
"Akashi-kun," Kuroko called him.
Seijuro looked back at his teammate and followed him to their group. Maybe the girl was just late. She'd be here.
