short hair mui

Sorry for two oneshots to do with muis hair, it's just this one was a request-

I was told not to give the user of the requester so yeah-

But basicly its summer and muis pissed abt how hot it is, especially with his hair and this is a modern au

Mui pov
( btw he's with genya rn)

"Ahhh- it's so hottt-" I say, "mhm- it's annoying-" he replies.

Genya and I are sitting under a tree, eating Popsicles. I don't eat Popsicles that much, but this was an exception-

"I hate my hair in summer- I'm just done with it at this point." I groan. Genya looks at me, "mui, I don't think you should cut your hair.." He says, "you can just tie it up-" he adds, giving me a hairtye. I take the hairtye, and put my hair into a high ponytail, a messy one- but it's fine.

"But it's so hotttt-" I say, "I just really love your hair and don't want you to regret cutting it.." He says, I hug him, well- more like fall on him because of how sluggish I am from the heat. "Mkay- I won't cut it." I say, he hugs me back. "Thank you." He says, lightly stroking my hair (still in the ponytail)

A few weeks later

'Ughhhhhh' I let out, banging my head on the wall from heat.

I'm just.. I'm just gonna go and cut my hair, I honestly don't care anymore-

I get up and walk into my brothers bedroom. He was writing something in his note book on his bed. "Yuiiiii-" I say, just standing in the doorframe. "Yes mui..?" He asks.

He had his fan on right next to him and his hair in a messy bun, like usual. But the fan was on full.

"Can you cut my hair? I'm just really hot-" I say. He looks at me and pats a spot on his bed for me to sit. I walk over to him and sit on his bed. "You want to cut your hair?" He asks me. I nod with an 'mhm!' Sound. "You do know you can just tie your hair up-" he tells me. "Yes but it would be much colder if it was short.. and plus my hairs annoying-" I say. He nods, "as long as you know it's going to take a very long time to come back to the length it is." He adds. I nod, "very well then, come on." He says, I immediately smile and almost jump in happiness as he drags me by the hand into the bathroom.

He didn't ask me to sit on a stool or anything.

He went back out and grabbed scissors.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous- but, it's fine.

Yuichiro pov

I grab a chunk of muis hair to cut it. Oh my god- I'm so scared that he's gonna regret it.. he might..

Welp- there's no going back..

I put the scissors to his hair, about halfway through his neck. I took a deep breath and started cutting the small chunk.

Once I cut it. I just put it on the shelf behind me, not on the ground. Because that would make a mess- and just incase.. I don't know- mum might want to keep it as muis first real haircut.

I brush it with my fingers and then do the rest of his hair.
I ended up making it slightly shorter, just because I wanted to make it look good, not just like a weird grown out haircut-

"Done mui." I say, he immediately runs into mum and dads room to check it. He then runs back into the bathroom to see me and hugs me super tight. Literally Jumping and smiling, he looked so happy- and just over something so small. "THANK YOU YUII!!" he says excitedly. I hugged him back and ruffled his hair. I could feel myself smiling manually.

Back to mui pov
(A few hours later)

Hm- oh, a text from gen! I open the text.

Gen: hey mui<3
Mui: hello gengen<3
Gen: you wanna go out tomorrow??
Mui: mhm!
Gen: cool, so dinner at the beach?
Mui: mhm, see you then luv u!
Gen: luv you too

Yes! I can show gen my new haircut.
(Btw mui had forgotten genya wanted mui to keep his hair, like- forgot a few days after he said it. So he's not going against genya)

I put my phone down, And went to bed.

The next day

'Ahhhh' I let out, stretching. I let my eyes adjust to the light. I got up and put my clothes on. I walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth.

It's nice not having to spend 20 minutes trynna brush my hair now. It really is

I finnished, then I had breakfast and played on my phone.

"Mui, your father wo- YOU CUT YOUR HAIR-" my mum spoke. I look up at her. "Hm?" I say, "You look so handsome!! Although, I will miss your hair-" she says. "Thank you, what did dad want?" I ask. "Oh, he wanted to ask you if you needed anything from the shops?" "Nah, thanks though." I say. She nods and walked out the room.

I have to say, my head feels a lot lighter, and I'm much colder than I was. Which is good, maybe not as much for winter but I'm sure it'll have grown enough to somewhat cover my ears then.

Later on, when he meets genya

Gen pov

I wait on the beach for mui, it was so pretty, the sunset, it was beautiful.

I felt something behind me, "BOO!!" I heard, I looked behind me to see a short haired figure..

Mui..?!

"Your hair-?!" I said, "surprise!!" He said in an Innocent tone, "like it??" He asked, it was a big change, but yes, I do. "Yes, it really suits you, I'll just need to get used to it aha-"

Mui nodded, "I will too- it's really light- I've never felt it like this-" he said, I patted his head "it looks beautiful on you though" I told him, he blushed "thank you gengen-" he said, "it's the truth" I said with a smile,

"Why don't we just have a little walk around the beach?" I asked him, he gave me a happy look, "mhm!" He said, I took his hand and started walking, making him tag along beside me.

"The sun sets beautiful, don't you think?" I asked mui, looking over the cliff and onto the water. Everything was perfect, so beautiful, I was playing with muis fringe, "mui?" I asked, after not getting a response

I looked down at my small, gentle boyfriend, he was fast asleep, so peaceful..

I booped his nose and gave him a few kisses, "well.. Let's get you home before it's dark" I told him, admiring his beautiful face.

I walked to his house, by the time we were there it was already very dark, so I quickly knocked on the door, Mrs tokito opened it "hello..? Oh, genya dear, what brings you here?" She asked, I listen mui up slightly "oh wow.. You must've tired him out- thank you for bringing him back home, have a nice night!" She said, patting my shoulder, I nodded, and walked back home
