The person that nobody saw in him

Chapter 5

I woke up before Draco,he still hold me tight. It was already dark outside and according to the clock it was 19 o clock. Dinner would be served in 30 minutes. I looked at Draco he was sleeping so peacefully, I didn't wanted to wake him up but I needed to. His hair was all messed up from my head massage earlier so I tried to fix it a little bit before waking him up. As soon as I touched his hair he started moving and woke up.

He opened his eyes and turned to his back,he didn't realize where he was. I smiled at his sleepy look, he finally realized where he was and looked at me, he smiled as well. "Hey sleepyhead how was the nap?", I asked. "Good, I don't know when I slept this great the last time.",he answered with a deep morning voice. He yawned and stretched himself, his hair was still a bit messy. "We should go to dinner it's 19 o'clock.",i said. "What?? How long did I sleep?", he seemed ab bit shocked. "It's been about 7 hours, I mean we talked for quite a bit before we fell asleep.", I replied, "How about we go to dinner and eat a bit and after that you can go back studying if you want." He nodded and got up to get his shoes back on. We went back to the great hall. Draco looked a lot better now but there was something in his walk that showed something tense.

Entering the hall the tables were already filled with chickenwings, rosemary potatoes, peas, mushed potatoes, different sauces, meatloaf and other delicious things. Draco walked up to the slytherin table, I followed him. We sat next to each other like this morning for breakfast. I load up my plate with a bit of everything. Draco didn't eat to much but after my deadly stare he began to eat.

V:" Wait?! Wait, wait, wait... What??! You never visited a Christmas Market?
D:" Nope!! Never. For my parents it always was something that muggles do, not wizards.
V:" Okay then we have something to do!
D:" what do you mean we have something to do? We can't just leave school and hogsmeade doesn't have something like a Christmas market.
V:" No but in London are some. There even the best ones.
D:" But how the fuck are we supposed to get to London? We can't Apparate from school grounds."
V:" But we can from hogsmeade.",i grinned widely.
D:" How in the world are you not a slytherin?"
V:" a that's a long story, I'll tell you why. Maybe tomorrow, when we are in London."
D:" Okay but we have to do something today, after dinner."
V:" Okay but what do you want to do?"
D:" Ah.. Hm well, I would say that's a surprise. You should change for that. Something warm should be best but you should be able to move."
V:" OH, Malfoy! If you try to fool.. "
D:" Don't worry just trust me! "
V:" Okay. "

I was in my dorm trying to figure out what to wear. Almost every piece of clothing was laying on the ground. I was nervous, very nervous to be honest. 'Why was I so nervous? What was this Malfoy boy doing to me? I never cared about what somebody thought about my clothes or my hair. Why now?' I picked up my black trousers, I loved these pants. I combined it with my dark green turtleneck and brown boots. My black beanie made my long, dark red hair shine even more. ' Okay! Okay this will do. It's not that we're having a date or something. It's completely unnecessary to think that much about my outfit. It's Draco, my new friend Draco Malfoy. I grabbed my coat and flicked my wand. All my clothes that laid on the floor flew back into the closet. I grabbed my jinxed purse and got out of the common room.

It's already past bedtime and the hallways were so peaceful and silent that I sneaked around looking for Draco. He was supposed to be here exactly now, at the entrance on the backside of the castle. I was leaning against a big rock, looking around if any professors would apeare. "Waiting for someone special?" I turned around thinking that a teacher found me. "Draco you idiot!! You scared me!", I said playfully angry. I hit his arm as a joke and laughed. "Come on Sallow let's get going.

We walked through the forbidden Forrest. Now my worries weren't the teachers anymore but more the rather dangerous creatures living in this Forrest." Draco where are we going? ", I asked a bit worried. He grinned:" You will see soon enough. Why are you scared?" "No, I'm not! Why should I be scared? I have a big strong man at my side.",i said sarcastically.
He laughed and stopped. I looked at him confused. "There we are.", he said like revealing the biggest surprise ever. We stood in front of a frozen lake. Not the black lake this one was smaller. "You bring me here for what?", I asked pretty confused. "Simple! We're going to skate. You said you loved it when you were younger so I thought this would be fun for you.", he explained.

Before I could say anything he whipped out his wand and pointed it at me. I almost lost my balance as I looked down. My boots had skating blades on them. Draco smiled as he performed the same charm on his black boots. He stepped on the ice skating a few meters, then turned around and came back up to me. He offered me his hand, I gladly took it and stepped on the ice as well. "I didn't do this since I was 12 years old!", I said. My smile couldn't even show how much joy I felt while slowly getting used to the familiar feeling of ice skating. Draco still held my hand because I was still pretty unstable on the skates. "Where did you learn ice skating? You're pretty good at it!", I asked. "In our garden we have a pond that freezes every winter and my mom loves to skate so she took me to the pond and teached me.", Draco said. He skated in front of me and took both my hands to help me find my balance. My feet slowly remembered the movements, I let go of dracos hands and started to move a bit quicker. Draco followed me. We laughed and joked around. I had so much fun skating across the lake that I completely forgot the world around me. No potential danger coming up and no thought about being alone around the holidays. 'Wait I'm not alone. Draco and I can spent the holidays together!' The thought made me smile even more. Making new friends is a great feeling.

"Hey Viola, come here!", Draco said grinning almost devilish. "Why?", I asked a little scared, not sure if I could trust him. He came up to me and grabbed my hand. He took of and got almost to the middle of the lake, than he turned around and took my other hand but he did not stop, he started to twirl us around in a circle. As we stopped he let go of my right hand and stood on my left side. I wanted to say something but he pulled my towards him twirling me around myself. As I spun around myself once he grabbed my right hand again locking me in his arms. I looked at him and laughed, I got a little dizzy causing me to almost loose my balance but Draco hold me tight. Tight enough so I could not fall. As soon as I found my balance I looked at him his Grey eyes met mine and there was the magnet again pulling me into his gace. We both smiled and I felt a heat rushing to my face. Draco blushed as well not breaking the eye contact.

We both looked down in embarrassment, big mistake! Draco lost his balance and because he was still holding me in his arms I started to
stumble as well. Draco let go of my left hand and fell backwards. I turned to face him as he ripped me off of my feet as well because he Stil hold my right hand. I landed right on Draco.

V:"Oh my God! Draco, are you okay?!"
D:"Yeah I'm good. Are you okay though?"
V:"Yeah, I'm fine. I landed pretty softly to be honest."
D:"I'm glad your landing was soft this time. At least I didn't fall over you like your parents did."

We both looked at each other and started laughing. I rolled over to the side laying next to Draco, still laughing uncontrollably.

We got up and made our way off the lake. As soon as we stepped off the ice the charm on our boots wore off. I sat down on a big stone and reached into my purse. I grabbed my box, filters and longpapes. Draco sat down next to me and looked closely at my hands rolling the joint. I finished the joint and held it towards Draco.

D:"What do you want me to do with it?"
V:" It's been almost six months since we smoke weed together. It is time you learn how to light a joint, how to smoke in a group and you should learn slowly how to build a joint. I will show you the beauty of weed and its world."
D:" Okay if you show me how to do all that I think I can handle it."
V:" Okay so you put it in your mouth and put the flame to the other end as soon as the flame touches the joint you start inhaling and put the lighter down.

He grabbed the joint and the lighter and waited a moment. Draco did everything exactly as I told him and started coughing a little bit while exhaling. "Good job!", I said and took the joint out of his hand so he could relax his lungs. We started walking towards the castle and smoking the joint.

We sneaked around in the dungeon to get back to bed. It was almost 1 o'clock in the morning. "Are you sure you didn't got hurt? I fell down pretty hard on you.",I whispered worried. "I'm fine really, I'll maybe get a bruise or two but that's nothing to worry about.",he assured me. "Okay goodnight then!", I whispered.
"Goodnight, Viola.",he replied. "Oh, Draco!", he turned around, "thank you for that!" He smiled and walked back to his common room. I smiled to myself while walking back to my common room. It was a great day and I am thrilled to show Draco the magic that Christmas can bring to everyone.
