Sylvie was curled up in Wednesday's dorm in the chair that she had claimed as her spot. La Llorona played from the gramophone and the silver haired girl softly hummed along with her eyes closed as Wednesday took her writing time.

She typed away on her typewriter, the clicking of it adding to the peaceful atmosphere.

The springs of her bed creaked. Wednesday continued her typing and Sylvie continued her humming.

The bed creaked again, louder. The typing stopped causing the humming girl to stop and crack an eye open quizzically.

She watched as Wednesday ripped the quilt off her bed.

"I knew it! Hello, Thing."

Thing made a run for it. The Addams girl lunged for him and pulled him off her bed.

"Thing Addams, well I'll be dead and buried!" Sylvie said.

Thing wiggled his fingers at her in greeting as Wednesday glared at her.

"Did you think my highly trained olfactory sense wouldn't pick up on the faint whiff of neroli and bergamot in your favorite hand lotion?" She walked back over to her desk holding the disembodied hand tightly.

"I could do this all day," she said before slamming him into the desk making it shake.

"Surrender?" She asked.

Thing frantically tapped his surrender on the desk. Wednesday moved her desk light to better interrogate him.

Sylvie stood and walked behind Wednesday's desk chair, never one to miss a good interrogation.

"Mother and Father sent you to spy on me, didn't they?" the gothic girl asked as Sylvie put her hands on the back of Wednesday's chair in support.

Thing didn't move to reply.

"I'm not above breaking a few fingers. The fact they thought I wouldn't find out just proves how much they underestimate me."

Thing started finger spelling something, but Wednesday interrupted, "Oh, Thing, you poor, naive appendage. My parents aren't worried about me. They're evil puppeteers who want to pull my strings even from afar. The way I see it, you have two options."

She grabbed him. "Option one. I lock you in here for the rest of the semester, and you go slowly insane trying to claw your way out, ruining your nails and your smooth, supple skin," she said as she started forcing him into the desk drawer. "And we all know how vain you are."

She slammed him back on the desktop.

"Option two. You pledge your undying loyalty to me."

"Us," Sylvie piped in.

"To us," Wednesday amended.

Thing gave a little bow of submission.

"Our first order of business is to escape this teenage purgatory."

"Oh, then count me out. I'll send you supplies of course, if you succeed," Sylvie said returning to her chair to read.

Thing taped on the desk.

"Of course I have a plan. And it begins now," Wednesday said with a smile.

Later that night, Sylvie was on a rooftop taking a moonlight bath with the other, non werewolf, nightshade girls. They were all dressed in slip dresses, lounging on blankets and pillows, eating snacks, sipping on mocktails, and smoking medicinals.

Sylvie was always more open with her touch when she was high, and she was enjoying having her hair intricately braided by Yoko, when she heard the familiar song on the cello. She knew Wednesday's plan had failed and felt the desire to go comfort the gothic girl.

Yoko finished the braid and Sylvie stood with a sigh.

"Where do you think you're going?" Bianca teased.

"Wednesday's dorm," Yoko answered for her, teasingly.

"Really?" Bianca asked Sylvie.

The silver haired girl just averted her eyes.

"Come on, girl," Bianca said taking Sylvie's hands and pulling her down next to her.

"Wednesday's a big girl she can take care of herself. You don't always need to be her knight in silver armor," she said with a light tug on Sylvie's new braid.

"You don't understand," Sylvie said laying her head on the siren's shoulder, "for the longest time it was just us. Wednesday and Sylvie. Ness and Vivi."

"Ness?" Bianca laughed.

"Don't repeat it. She'll kill us in our sleep," the silver haired girl said seriously.

"Ness? Like the Loch Ness Monster?"

"Yeah...but seriously don't even think about it," Sylvie paused. "I just...she's always been my person. Ya know?"

"Not really," Bianca smiled sadly.

"You'll find them. I know it. How could anyone not love you."

"Wednesday doesn't," Yoko teased.

"Shut up," Sylvie said throwing a handful of popcorn at the vampire.

Yoko grabbed a white cloth napkin and waved it in the air. "I'm waving my white flag. Do not attack!"

All three dissolved into laughter, interrupting the other nightshade girls' conversations.

Sylvie leaned on Bianca catching her breath. "Don't even think about calling Wednesday Ness. Seriously."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say, Vivi," the other girl replied mischievously.

Sylvie leaned away from her with her mouth hanging open in fake shock.

"You!" she said pointing at the nightshade's unofficial leader.

"Me?" she replied with false innocence.

"You're gonna get it!" The silver haired girl said throwing more popcorn at her friend.

Yoko joined in and soon the others did too.

The night turned into an all out snack war, their laughter drowned out by the werewolves' howls.
