PSYCHO???

CHAPTER NINETEEN

LEE BYUNGCHAN

       I hid behind a dumpster and watched as Taemin walked out of the house. I kept following as he turned up the alley. I heard a noise behind me and when I turned, something really heavy hit me right across the face and then....everything went dark.

KYUNG EUNSOO

      I groaned impatiently as I opened the message from the unknown number. The past couple of days, Yoonho had been calling and texting me frequently, asking if we could meet up and talk or if I was okay. I blocked his previous number and now he texted me with a different one. I don't know how long he plans on carrying out his childish plans.

LEE TAEMIN

          I walked towards the bus stop and saw Eunsoo a few feet away from me. I was really scared and worried about everything that was going on, but being around him gave me a sense of relief and comfort.

              " Good morning "

             " Hey "

He said and pulled me in for a hug. I clung unto him as the smell of his cologne filled my nose.

              " You weren't followed right?"

              " I don't think so ". I said and looked around.
              " Did you tell your mum?"
              " Yeah "
              " How is she?"
             " She isn't taking it well. She was really worried and wouldn't let me go. I had to be really careful not to get caught "
             " Get in the taxi first "
Eunsoo said as he hailed a taxi.
               " What about you Eunsoo? Did you tell your mum?"
               " Not yet. I'm telling her when we get back "
               " I was planning on telling my Uncle to meet us at the train station. We can't just go there without backup "
             " I really don't think that's a good idea. Did you tell him yet?"
             " No. What's wrong?"
             " Don't you find it weird? He didn't admit to knowing anything about Tiger Corp "
             " He is probably just worried and doesn't want us to get involved with them"
             " I know. But there's something off "
              " Are you saying this just because he wouldn't let you see your father?"
               " What? No...I...just forget it ?
Eunsoo said and brushed his fingers through his hair while staring out the window.
               " I'm sorry "
I said and placed my hand over his hand.
               " It's fine. We're both probably just worked up and stressed out over everything "

I really can't wait for everything to be over. Everything would be back to the way they were and everyone would be fine.
             We got to the station and headed for the ticket booth. I suddenly stopped when I realized Eunsoo wasn't with me. I turned around and started searching for him.

KYUNG EUNSOO
       I stood fixed in my spot as I looked towards his direction. He was watching me as I stared at him. He didn't move.....he didn't turn away, he just stood there and repeatedly flashed me a red card. He seemed to be panicking as he frantically swung the red card around.He pulled out his phone and kept gesturing at it. I couldn't make out his face since he had on a nose mask and a baseball hat. I was walking towards him when I felt a hand grab me.
               " Hey.....come on "
               " Yeah....right "
I said and followed Taemin. I looked towards his direction but he wasn't there anymore.
           Throughout the ride, I kept looking around for that person but I couldn't find him. I just couldn't get it out of my head.

             The sun had risen by the time we started making our way up the rocky hill. I had sent Moon Hyejin a green light emoji, prior to our trip. It was kind of hard finding the cafe that sold that pudding, since Taemin's memory was so vague. We asked around and were finally able to find it.
             Taemin and I took our seat close to the window and waited. It was now past twelve in the afternoon and there was still no response. Suddenly Taemin gripped my arm.
              " Eunsoo look "
Taemin said and pointed to a figure standing a few feet from the restaurant. I saw the person take out their phone as they looked around nervously, and then I got a text ... " Are you there?", that was what the text read. " I'm sitting close to the window, with a boy and I'm putting on an ash sweater ', was what I in typed in hurriedly.
              The woman hurriedly walked into the cafe and scanned the area. She turned towards our direction and sat with us.
                 " Hello. Eunsoo and Taemin right?"
                 " Yes. You're Moon Hyejin right?"
                 " Yes "
The woman before me was at least twenty seven. There was no way she was Shin Mirae's daughter. She seemed unhinged and nervous, but I guess years of living in hiding caused it.
                 " It's not safe here. Follow me let's talk somewhere a little more private ". She said in a hushed voice.

Taemin and I got up and walked towards the door with her. I felt Taemin grab me by my sleeve, so I turned around to look at him.
                " Are you sure we can trust her?"
                " We don't exactly have a choice "
