Larissa's Pov

I stared into the mirror thoughtfully, something was just missing. I don't know if I was just anxious about meeting an Addams or if it was the fact I missed a step in my daily morning routine. Anyways, I slipped on my dark blue Nevermore jacket and continued to hang up all the decorations in my dorm room. I hope Addams is my dorm mate, she could use a splash of color to...everything.

Morticia's Pov

I scanned the forest on both sides of us as our black buggy traveled at a fast speed past the gates of Nevermore Academy.

"You're making a mistake."

"Excuse me?"

"I said, you're making a mistake. Sending me here won't fix anything, I won't change how I am because you send me to a school full of literal monsters and outcasts."

"Well, I think it will. You have to be open-minded about certain things Morticia, or you'll never succeed in life."

I looked out of the window, the car slowly stopped around a strange statue and Lurch opened my door. I grabbed my small bag and threw it over my shoulders. As I stepped out of the car the, presumably, principal of the school stepped up to us with a warm yet agitating smile.

"Welcome to nevermore academy!, I am Principal Porter. You must be Morticia and Ophelia."

My happy sister beamed when she guessed her name correctly.

"Hi! Nice to meet you!"

I patted her back, that was simply my signal for her to relax. We hate when people stare into her soul and they definitely were.

"Indeed. It's very exciting to have an Addams joining our Nevermore family. I'm sure you'll have a great time here, now..how about a tour?"

"Yes!" Ophelia grabbed my hand and pulled me along, we followed behind Porter steadily. Ophelia may be kind and caring, but oh my goodness does she have GRIP.

"Release me, Ophelia."

"Huh? Oh! Sorry!" She let my hand go and turned her head to look at the woman abruptly stop.

"Now these are the dorm rooms. Morticia will be staying with Larissa Weems in Ophelia hall."

"Omg a dorm hall with my name! Now you'll remember me!"

"Yes, whenever I wake up or go to sleep I'll have to hear/ see your name."

"You're an energetic one, aren't you?"

"She has severe a manic-depressive illness."

"Oh. I'm sorry."

I opened the dorm door and stepped inside, my eyes were immediately hit with a bunch of colors. Colors that, luckily, were only on one side of the room.

"It's very..vivid."

"Hello, roomy."
